THIS IS THE RIGHT STUFF FOR BRAKE LUBRICANT ! OE GM/AC-DELCO
THIS IS THE BRAKE LUBE OF CHAMPIONS & MECHANICS---THE RIGHT STUFF.High temp silicone w/Teflon is the long-time GM OE brake lubricant.I have used 3 OTHER "big-name brands" and all 3 caused swelling of rubber guide pin/bolt boots, allowing them to let moisture in and rust the pin in the cast iron caliper bracket, and even worse, on those vehicles that have a guide pin with a rubber sleeve in a groove, the swelled-up rubber sleeve will seize the guide pin inside the bracket, even with no rust involved

Good stuff !
Use the “purple” and “orange” stuff for everything else.Use THIS STUFF for the slider pins and you will have the very best golden touch !

The Very Best Lubricant for Brake Caliper Pins to Prevent Galling
I have used many brands of lubricants on brake caliper sliding pins but this DELCO brand in my opinion is the best available. It is quite expensive and you get a lot of lubricant in the can but worth the extra money in my viewpoint because you don't have to dismantle your calipers every year to re-grease the pins. When you first see it you will see a huge difference in the material. It's very slippery allowing for reliable retraction of the caliper pads from the rotor when you let off the brake pedal. While you cannot see them in the lubricant there are tiny microscopic ceramic balls that act as ball bearings between the caliper pins and caliper stator bore. Highly recommended.
