Works with Bose AE2 Headphones
This is an initial impression of the cable, which appears to be of good quality construction. It isn’t as flexible as the original, but that was known prior to ordering since the jacket material is woven fabric instead of vinyl. Time will tell if it holds up.I use this my Bose AE2 headphones along with a lightning adapter for iPhone XS to conduct teleconferences for work. The audio sound quality is excellent. The microphone works and sound is also very good. The in-line controls work the same as the original Bose cable did (play/pause, volume up/down).

Works perfectly, although not a permanent solution.
The braiding on the cable has worn out over the two years I’ve had this product. The cable still works perfectly, but I wonder for how much longer. Still, it is a great solution for an older Bose headphones that is no longer in production.

Excellent Replacement Cable for Bose AE2 and OE2 Headphones
This is a suitable replacement for the Bose AE2 and OE2 headphones. The cable is of good build quality and should last for a long time. The pin that plugs into the headphones is of the correct size and fits well into the Bose headphones. The volume controls and the call receive/cut button on the cable work nicely. The only downside is that this cable is shorter than the original Bose cable by around 18 to 20 inches. (that is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5)Except for the issue with the length, I would highly recommend this cable as a replacement for the Bose AE2 and OE2 Headphones.

Used with iMac 2010 and iPad Pro
I have a Bose AE2 over the earn headphone set. The original jack/cord broke after more than 10 years of use. I wasn't sure if this cord would carry the same sound quality of the original cord or that the smaller end would be long enough to reach up into the port on the earpiece. Both answers are a resounding yes. Sound quality is very important to me. That's why I got the Bose in the first place. With the purchase of new earphone covers (which were very easy to install) I now have like new headphones with very little cost! This cord seems better than the original in that it's braided.

fixed my Bose AE2 headset
The headset stopped working a few days ago and my diagnosis is to replace audio cable. After replaced, ae2 is rebirthed because the earpad and cable are new. I like this cable because its durability. It's made by braided cable instead of the original plastic cable. I don't need to pay extra care to avoid the ripping it when using the headset.

Unfortunately, the "cable noise" is too loud to enjoy my music :(
These fit and work fine but the braided material creates an abrasively loud noise when it rubs against my clothes. It's hard to focus or listen to my music so it's a no go for me. Otherwise, if cable noise doesn't bother you then it's worth buying.

Works as expected
If you only have USB and want to plug in, this is the way.

Did not work with iOS
First, I want to give the company some credit. It is well built and the controls work but that is all I can give it. Here is were it goes down hill. I bought the iOS version. I have a Bose QC3. I used it with my iPhone XS with an official lightening to 3.5 dongle and I got scratches. I plugged it into my pad mini’s 3.5mm jack and the same thing. I plugged it into my pc and the right side only worked. You ended up returning it.Maybe I got a bad cable, but I did not want to gamble with another one.
