I don't know how I ever lived without this.
My favorite game to date. We saw this on an episode of Table Top and knew instantly we needed this game. My husband and I have a blast playing it. Well I enjoy blasting him to bits anyway. He hasn't beaten me yet. We also got our 13 year old nephew in on this and it's his favorite game too. The rules are not at all complex. You just build spells with 1-3 cards and last man standing wins the game. Be warned though that the more people that play, the longer the game will be. (Obviously.) But there is a bit of time spent setting up spells, picking your targets and strategy. If I play with my nephew and husband and we play first to three wins takes the crown, the game can take upwards of an hour or more sometimes. The humor in the cards is pretty hilarious as well. If you like games like Exploding Kittens, Joking Hazard or Munchkin, you will enjoy this game too. Art is very much like the show Rick and Morty. Be warned there is a lot of adult humor in this game... not something for young children or those that do not like more risky adult themed content.

Super fun
Great game for families or friend groups. I’ve played it with groups of adults and with my kids (youngest is 11) and it’s always a good time. Easy to learn but with a good amount of strategy.

Perfect game for all (adults that is)!!
This is a really fun game! My group is not usually into rpg type games where you do damage and have to think about your moves in advance. We always play stupid, funny party games like CAH, utter nonsense, funemployed, and disturbed friends. The quality of our experience is usually dictated by how hard we laugh. And this game was a perfect mix!ESWOTBW:DAMS has the illustrations that kept us intrigued from the start. Every card is funny. And the spell combinations are also goofy to read in your best wizard voice. Even though we dropped the wizard voices about halfway through it was fun to try different voices and read the spells. And for a group that doesn't play games that take even a hint of preparation for your move esw was perfectly simple enough to sit down and understand in a round. A great game for adults of any game level! Whether you are hardcore and want a light fun turn based card game or are a party gamer and want something a bit more involved it has it all. Next up is to buy the sequel and expand my deck!

A very fun game with a bit of naughty humor
This game is a great game to take to your next game party or game night. Pretty easy to pick up, very entertaining, and with a decent depth of strategy to keep you excited for the next round, next spell, and next effect. You will be both laughing at, with, and cursing at your friends in a good natured battle to the death in this game. My advice is to fully embrace your inner Harry Potter and really belt out the spell names like you are trying to counter curse the dark lord himself

Very fun to play, easy to learn, hideous looking artwork.
A friend of mine told me about this game. It sounded like a game our gaming group would really enjoy. While my friend was still telling me about the game, I got on my phone and bought it without even knowing what the game looked like. When I first received the game and opened the box I thought to myself the art work look hideous (to my taste). The game sat on our shelf for a long time. I did not thing I could bring it to the table hatting the looks of the box and cards. One day I decided to play it with my son and we loved it. Then we introduced the rest of the family to it and they loved the game. However, we all agreed (the reason for the -1 deduction)...the cards still look very hideous, lol

Become the Last Wizard Standing!
This game... THIS GAME IS AMAZING! The art is a bit grotesque at times but if you can look past, ignore or appreciate that then you'll have an incredibly silly game that pits powerful wizards against one another in a NEVERENDING battle to the death. I mean that in an overall sense. The first two pages of the instruction book set the stage for an EPIC but TERRIBLE land ruled by UNCLE ANDY! Let's just say, the fact that they constantly come back from the dead after each match isn't always such a great thing. ;DThis artist is fantastic and purchasing this game caused me to look up more of his work. He does such an amazing job of creating bizarre creatures that tell interesting stories just based on how they look. Everything is different. Everything is unique. But it all fits into the universe presented. If you're looking for a card game that lets you BE the WIZARD of your DREAMS (such as Fey Ticklebottom the Enchanter or Princess Holiday and her Furicorn) to cast incredibly devastating spells (such as Beard'o Blasty's Prickly Fountain of Youth) then you've found the right game.

Lots of laughs and spells for the new to seasoned gamers!
HOLY WOW. This game opened me up to tabletop gaming. I've never had so much fun playing a non-video game.Back when I was a kid, I was so turned off to tabletop games because of Monopoly and mischievous siblings n cousins who always managed to "win"... resulting in many losses for me.This game was easy for me to pick up and play. It took a couple rounds for me to figure out that I really needed some sort of strategy and I just started to have a night full of laughter with good friends. The artwork of the cards are fun and innovative. As you build a spell from the cards, the comedy and art blends in pretty well for some amusing visuals. My buddy had them all in card protectors. I've been playing mine without them (even around adult beverages) and they are holding up pretty well. This is definitely a fun game! I have even introduced other new gamers with this game, and it's always a fun time!
