Amazing vocal training that will dramatically improve your voice (beginners to professionals)
Teach Yourself to Sing by Jane Edgren includes 20 vocal fitness/singing lessons that have dramatically changed my voice. Even though I have a degree in music from the Aaron Copeland School of Music in NYC and have had several other voice teachers, Jane’s vocal fitness is the only training that has increased my singing range dramatically (and it is effortless), has made my tone sound like I am in a concert hall, my voice isn’t strained anymore and Jane’s lessons taught me how to breathe correctly so I don’t run out of breath and the breath supports my voice.I have been studying directly with Jane, but everything that is in her book will teach you to have the same noticeable results that I have had if you practice. The book also includes a special code to her website to access 140 audio tracks and 30 instructional videos.Jane’s performance background and years of teaching voice lessons has given her amazing and unique techniques that are all poured into this book. The lessons are brilliantly written, yet very easy to understand.

Great information, an easy read.
This book provides great information and pointers for improving your tone and vocal quality. The VFT method is very successful and has improved my singing immensely. Glad to have a place to go to find out exactly what to do, how to do and why we should do it. Great description and imagery on how to position your mouth, what to not do with your mouth and/or breathing.

Outstanding program!
This program is amazing on many levels. The written text is very helpful and the videos are indispensable. You will notice improvement with the first exercise. And you get FREE access to complete online course with videos! The most amazing thing was I had trouble accessing one of the lessons (probably pilot error) and the author called me personally within a few hours and guided me through the problem. Knowledge is power indeed. You will not be disappointed if you invest in this book. Kathy in Texas

Honestly Amazing Results
I started following the vocal fitness program laid out in this book and associated website three weeks ago (at the low intensity level). So far everything has been seemingly simple exercises centered around oo, ee, and oh vowels--but the improvement in my singing is already dramatic!! There is more richness in my tone, and, most amazingly, I can now negotiate my vocal break around D4/E4 without trouble. Like, what the heck? And how? I have been struggling with that for years! So I can't wait to see what else happens over the next 45 weeks of the program. The book says I should be able to do my daily practice in 15 minutes, but it usually takes me more like 20 or 25. With this kind of improvement, I do not care! Imma try out for all the choir solos now. :)

The written exercises without accompanied vocals are ridiculous - 179 pages of useless prattle.
Without hearing an exercise you have no idea if you’re doing it correctly. I learned nothing.
