Great bonce and face shave
I decided to change to a safety razor a few years ago, for a few reasons reasons. 1. Cheaper. 2 Cut down on my carbon foot print. 3. I also heard just using one single blade on your skin, (as opposed to 3 in one, or 5 in one, like a Gillette fusion ect) will stop the usual neck rash I'd normally get within 24 hours after a shave. Once you get used to using this different style of razor, (and these Gillette blades also are amazing) it'll be like you've always used it. I shave my face and head all in one, twice a week. And I get no rash, no nicks or cuts anymore. And it is literally the most closest and satisfying shave I've ever had. I'm convinced that the previous mach 3 and fusion ect ect. Just generally those types of razors are gimmicky! And I'm convinced the multiple blades in one is pointless! And I'm convinced that's what causes rushing up. The little pointless strip you get on the blade face probably has something to do with causing rash! And then you end up buying into more of their products to eliminate the rash. When the fundamental issues are the blades. You only need one, sharp good quality blade gliding through your skin at a time. And also you'll find with a single blade.......you'll be using minimum of strokes....... In comparison to these multi gimmicky, expensive, non recyclable blades. I l found the Wilkinson sword ones were just as good as these Gillette ones. If I was just shaving my face......I'd probably get maybe 6 to 8 decent shaves maybe. But I shave my head also. So after about 4 shaves.......I change the blade. When I feel its gliding less and dragging, and my head starts feeling rough on my skin, I change the blade. They will last you ages. Save a load of the old ones up in an old soup or baked beans tin. When they eventually fill up (mine haven't yet, and probably won't for a few years 😅) push the lid back on it, with a little tape, and add it the metal recycling.

Good value
For the price they are very good. In my opinion they are not quite as good as say Wilkinson Sword originals, being just a little too 'coarse'. I had sense to get a styptic pencil around the same time. However it may be my eagerness the get the shave out of the way that results in a tiny nick or two. They are sharp, fit perfectly, and seem to last for the same number of shaves as others.I would happily buy them again, but seeing as they by their very nature consumables I may shop around to see if the competitors have the edge!

Cut your stubble so well you turn ginger
The razors blades are the best quality ones I have managed to find so far. I thought I'd try these razors as for years a friend had been saying it will give you the best and closest shave like the commercials. All I got was cut and nicked and the skin was so sensitive over the next few days that you couldn't shave the proceeding day. But I persevered and after a few minor skin transplants I had managed to get the nicks to but a few, however the skins sensitivity remained. So this type of razor is a Faustian bargain of sorts you will have a really close smooth shave on the day you shave it - the day after your face will be sore and as red as the proverbial baboons bottom and you won't be able to shave for a couple of days after. My advice is to use a conventional razor - I see now the reason they took off. But if your into this sort of thing it's the best blade I've tried but I wont be trying anymore.

Bargain.
Tired of paying through the nose for cartridge safety blades?Okay that sounded like the start of a bad advert...I was scared by the price of cartridge blades. How much??? I bought these blades to go with a nice old school Gillette razor. My grandfather had one and I wish that I had kept it.Amazing shave from a real blade BUT you will need to get used to it. Real blade equals a nice cut face if you're not careful. If you are careful you will have THE best ever!! Ditch your safety blades and shave like an old bloke!! You wont regret it.

No cuts under neck
Compared to other blades I get less irritation and no cuts on the neck with theses ones, they are now my goto razor.

Lasts a long time
I've been using these for about two years now. I changed from using the sensor excel cartridge razor to these and I wouldn't change back. I'm confused by the reviews who suggest you change every couple of shaves. They seem to last a few weeks for me! Basically I've gone from spending £100 a year to less than £10 and I get a much better shave. Downsides are its fiddly to change the blades and you need to be a bit careful around the blades generally as they are dangerous if mishandled.

Sharp, but no Feather
In my line of business, it often pays to have visual stimulants and various props to help jog the clients memory about specific items or events. One of my staple go-to’s are safety razor blades and a banana as an analogue for a sensitive place. This often gets the client to “spill the beans” without having to crack any eggs, so to speak. Generally I use quality products for this as I am a pro with pride, so I was a tad bit disappointed with the edge on these puppies. Twas fine for the general “peel the banana” charade, but when it comes down to it, they are not quite as sharp as some competitors, meaning more weight and more passes needed to get the job done, which introduces an element of disappointment for myself, and undue discomfort for the client. The end results are the same, but one take more time than the other and may lead to unintended nicks and cuts.I’ll stick with Feather in the future. One for the kitbag if alternatives unavailable.
