I hand write on white leather NFL footballs that we award to our branch offices that meet goals for the year. (This will be my 20th year making these.) They were getting smudged when shipping to our annual meeting. I bought this a few years ago to cover and protect the writing. I love that it sticks the perfect amount. We use a little tape to hold it in place and it does not affect the writing at all. It was the perfect solution.

This is just what my son wanted for Christmas. I thought it was a little expensive but he said the quality is worth it and it will last him a very long time.

it did not work for me, was wanting it to protect door sill on a new construction home, it would not adhere to the surface, tried it on appliances and a car and it adhered ok. just didnt work on where i needed it

I bought this primarily for use when I size my watches; It's used to protect the stainless steel from scratches . It works flawlessly. Just enough adhesion but not too much. I've had to really put some muscle into sizing some of my bracelets and without the protection of the adjacent areas there most certainly would have been scratches. This tape prevented that.It's one of those items that you buy for one thing but you'll find yourself also using it on other things. It's great to have.

At first I thought this material wouldn't stick to anything but it requires a bit more work than regular tape. I use it to protect anodized aluminum parts during final assembly before being delivered to customers. To get it to stick you need to press the air bubbles out of it in a wiping motion. Next I use a hot wire cutter to trim the excess around the part. Finally, I use a hot air gun to clean up the edges. The hot air will shrink the edges to a perfect fit. The result looks and feels just like the protective film you'd get on an expensive newly purchased device. It removes cleanly with absolutely no residue.

The listing says that this product can be used on glass, metal, and plastic. With regard to plastic, there is no stick at all. I would guess it would adhere better to a polished surface like glass, but when it comes to plastic there is no stick at all. I cleaned the surface with alcohol first, to promote adhesion, and still nothing. Would not recommend.

This is not tape but almost like cling plastic wrap. It adheres well to smooth surfaces but does not still well on textured surface. It worked for my use perfectly!

I usually don't do a review but I feel I was taken advantage of on this product. It does not work. It said it sticks to metal and it does not. It is like a thick version of saran wrap. I am very disappointed.
