Why don’t doctors know more about this
Worth reading the research. Proof it works ( it’s preventative so don’t expect to feel better now but a lot better than you would later ) rare for any supplement to actually have scientific proof it works , pilots and sports people take it all the time !!!

Good quality supplement that should aid heart and circulatory health
These 'Fruitflow' blood pressure capsules come in a white plastic bottle with a screw-top plastic lid. The capsules themselves are beige in colour and about average size for a supplement. I have no problem swallowing them with some water. The capsules don't have any noticeable taste or smell. Neither have I noticed any after-taste from them, nor any other unwanted side effects. They contain a range of natural ingredients to promote heart and circulatory health.I was diagnosed with high blood pressure a couple of years ago and put on the drug Ramipril. Recently I forgot to reorder so had a few days without them. During this time I just took two of these capsules a day. Unfortunately my blood pressure did still rise, so I decided I had better not prolong the experiment. Possibly if I had continued a bit longer they might have had more of an effect, but I didn't want to play Russian Roulette with my health. What I've noticed subsequently, however, is that these capsules do appear to work well in conjunction with my prescription drug, and my blood pressure while taking them has actually been better than with the Ramipril alone (typically around 135/85). So I do intend to keep on taking it.Obviously my experience may not be typical. But if you are already being treated with drugs for high blood pressure I don't recommend switching to these capsules (at least, not without having an in-depth discussion with your GP first). But if you are borderline hypertensive they may help, or if you are on blood pressure drugs already you may find (like me) they have a beneficial adjuvant effect. At just under £30 a bottle at the time of writing, this supplement isn't particularly cheap, but the 120 capsules should last two months if you take two a day as recommended.Overall, this appears a good-quality product that should help your heart and circulatory health. Just don't expect miracles from it. Four stars from me.

Natural Product
I have started taking these before being given pharmaceutical products. Which I try to avoid. I can only say that these coupled with some lifestyle changes, have in a combined process started to have a wellness effect with my Blood Pressure.

Effective, even if you're already on medication
At 25p per capsule and two capsules recommended per day, this supplement costs 50p per day at a full dosage, and aims to help you to "maintain a healthy blood flow and heart".The main ingredients include (per two capsule dosage);- Potassium at 300mg, which is good as it helps to improve the potassium:sodium ratio of your blood- Magnesium at 56.25mg, which can reduce blood pressure- Fruitflow 2 at 150mg, which is a water soluble tomato concentrate that has been shown to be cardio-protective and has been compared to a 75mg aspirin dosage- Pine Bark Extract at 3,000mg, which has been shown to increase bloodflow through increasing nitric oxide levels- Garlic Extract at 500mg, which reduces total and LDL cholesterol while increasing HDL cholesterol- Zinc at 5mg, which has been shown to improve glycemic control and blood lips- Vitamin B1 at 1.1mg, which can be beneficial if you have high blood glucose levelsThere's a good amount of research behind all of the included ingredients and you can learn more about each on examine.com, where they summarise the results of thousands of clinical trials. The fruitflow nutrient is the most difficult to trust, in all honesty, as the research behind it is likely funded or influenced by the manufacturer, but it does appear to be somewhat reliable. My father takes these as he was diagnosed with high blood pressure and blood glucose levels, and so is on statins and other medication as well as a weight loss and diet regimen. He finds that these have contributed to a slight improvement in high blood pressure and blood sugar levels, even when he is already on medication. Without the medication, it is possible that these would have had a large effect by themselves. So, they do appear to do what they say, and they are effective. If you can meet the cost then these could be a good addition to your lifestyle to keep your heart healthy.

Expensive but well made
Supplements like these are always an interesting one because they're all natural, which is great, but there's also not much evidence that any of the ingredients actually make a difference. So then why would anyone bother with these? The simple answer is that big pharmaceutical companies pour loads of money into testing the drugs that they make, in the hope of having strong evidence to show that they work and they can then sell the drugs for loads of money! With natural ingredients, a company can't patent it and therefore can't sell it, so there's no incentive to research and produce evidence that it works. Simply put, there is not much evidence saying that these ingredients DO work, but also not much evidence saying they DON'T work either. Therefore, you can give these a go and see if they work for you! What I like about these supplements is that they're UK made at GMP approved facilities. If you're going to be regularly putting something in your body, it's best to make sure that it's safe, rather than some cheap supplements from abroad which may not be made under any regulations. This is why these are expensive, and to be quite honest, it's always worth paying more to get safe supplements that you can trust.Overall, I think these are a good supplement and worth trying to see if they work for you. I'd recommend them!
