This product is substandard and could not be installed even by a professional mechanic. The caps that cover the bolts do not fit. By the time I figured this out, the window for a return had closed so I'm out of luck. Learn from my mistake, avoid the headache, and avoid this product.

The item works perfectly for my carIt was easy to I stall and firmly strong to carry heavy stuff on top of my car

The racks barely fit (too tight) - the sizing was just a slight bit off. Once I finally got them to fit and tightened the screws down, the caps would NOT stay in place unless 1) I left the screws very loose (not acceptable); or 2) used gorilla tape to hold them in place. I am likely to return this product very soon.

Everything came together fine except the housing that goes over the bolts would not snap back into place well after the product was installed on my vehicle. One of them ended up flying off my car while I was driving which is a big safety hazard. Now one is missing. Also after installation it seems the rack makes a whistling noise anytime I go over 30 mph. Definitely some room for improvement.
