Another great Kobalt tool
My first Kobalt tool was a hand screwdriver with 4 interchangeable heads that Lowe's was giving away several years ago. Seemed like good quality and I still have it. Next was a set of screwdrivers. Then I splurged and bought a 24 volt drill because the batteries on my DeWalt were so high priced. It is great for home use, and I use it a good bit. Then a 24 volt Saws-All.My Snapper lawn mower was 12 years old and having some issues so I bought a Kobalt 80 volt, with a 6ah battery and charger, 21" self propelled mower. While it can do the whole yard, I use it to outline everything and then get on my Husqvarna tractor.Next was an 80 volt extendable pole hedge clipper but with a 4ah battery as it is smaller and not as heavy as the 6ah. Then I wanted to detail my truck and convertible and bought the 24 volt Kobalt random orbital polisher and it made polishing and waxing them so much easier. Trimming limbs become a little difficult (I'm 72) with my 18" gas chainsaw so I bought the Kobalt 8" chainsaw that I can use with one hand. Then it was a 24volt hand clipper for deadheading plants. It works like electric scissors. My gas handheld leaf blower, delivering 354 cfm at 191 mph, became so hard to start that I bought this Kobalt 80 volt blower. While this blower is only 140 mph, it's moving 630 cfm and works great. It was delivered today and it was raining. When it stopped, I went out and blew off the deck, the walkway and the whole driveway. Leaves were stuck to the concrete and this thing blew them all away. Now, I did use the "extra boost button" some but if things were dry, I doubt if I would have had to. Lowe's had this blower, but only with battery and charger for $270, which I did not need. Amazon had it without battery and charger for $125.Oh, one thing, the instructions are for a model that has a trigger on it. This one has a lever on both sides (left and right handed) that you press down and it stays in place (like a cruise control) then there is the "extra boost button".Now to be honest, most of my Kobalt tools have come from Lowe's as I have a 10% military discount card, but this blower , and some of the other tools, came from Amazon. If you haven't noticed, I like Kobalt tools. They are functionable and are of good quality. My next Kobalt tool will be a 20" chainsaw. Who knows after that. One more thing ... my wife will use this blower as it is not nearly as heavy as my former gas blower.Edit: My review was after using this blower one time. This unit does have a trigger that when squeezed, the blower comes on. The more you squeeze it, the faster it blows. The levers on the left and right sides also make the blower come on. The further down you push it, the faster it blows. And it stays in place like a "cruise control". Some have complained that it uses a lot of battery. I use a 4ah, as it is lighter than the 8ah but lasts longer than the 2aH. I do a porch and a 50 foot walkway, a triple garage, a 150 foot driveway and a deck 20 feet by 40 feet without a problem, even using the "extra boost" some. When I finish I put the battery in the charger. Still pleased with it.

Very Powerful
I used to mow several lawns in the summer with my son. I purchased one as an extra for my gas powered blower. I also purchased the chain saw, hedge trimmer, and weed eater. I had three batteries. We would mow 3-6 lawns a day. Typically one battery for both my blower and weed eater would last us most of the longer days. I then would use the third as an extra. All tools worked incredibly well. They are light and effective.

Good Battery Powered Blower
I already had the 80V battery and charger that I use for my Kobalt mower, chain saw and weed wacker so I purchased the leaf blower to replace my corded electric one. I have used it for a few hours and found the air flow to be good - better than my corded blower. My only complaint is that the battery runs down after about 45 minutes - to an hour. This may be due to my battery being 4 - 5 years old. Also, it is somewhat heavy and slightly unbalanced so some effort is required to keep it pointed in the downward direction. That being said, I would certainly recommend this product.

80V Max Kobalt Tools Perform Great!
The first one I received was missing the Cruise Control knobs located above the trigger on both sides and I had to return it for this one. It arrived in a few days and arrived in perfect, new, working condition. I have the backpack Kobalt blower and love it too. Now I have 2 blowers, mower, snow shovel, and the weed eater. They all perform great without as much noise or the pollution of their gas versions.I'm very pleased. This one is for being easier to grab for a quick use and it has better blowing speed and cfm.

Couldn’t get any service on broken part
This product only worked for a year. Has a two year warranty. They would not let me return it.
