Altec Lansing Whisper Active Noise Cancelling Headphones, Black (MZX1003-BLK)

A quality product. Great sound and very comfortable. Don't have to worry about buying again because they are built to last!

This is the best set of headphones I have ever had since I had a professional set as a young teen. I have several other Altec Lansing headphones and speakers. These are by far the best. I listen to lots of classical music and movie soundtracks. I am hearing instruments I never heard before with other headphones. This is just amazing!

The media could not be loaded. It arrived so late due to courier.The sound is not of that quality but for the price is worth. Altec Lansing say that the drivers must be subjected to warm up/burn in for its maximum quality to come to fruition.I wait for the right time to see if the seller is right about waiting for warm up drivers.

The brand is pretty much well known. I did not know the reliability because I have never owned Altec Lansing. My first one had problem with no sound on one side. It was within the Amazon return period so I return it and got another one. Why? I really liked the feel and looks of this headphone. The price was cheap and built quality is really nice for the price. And I liked the brand. So I bought in October 2020. Now it would not charge. The light does not turn on. So this lasted only 6 months. I must stay that the sound was really good. Would not compare with my high end Sony headphones. More compatible to my mid range ($120-140) Sony headphones. High is nice and not too much bass. The sound was perfectly acceptable for me. I don't listen to boom boom music. I listen to Pop. classical, jazz. The noise cancelling was really good too. So their website doesn't get you to anywhere regarding the warranty. Absolutely NO information. It will give you the phone number to call, but useless. Basically if you exceed the Amazon's return period, you're out of luck. I contacted the Amazon support. Hopefully I can get an information on warranty. The headphone is really good. You would be lucky if you have no problem. I would recommend this headphone if you want to take a chance on their reliability. My two Sony headphones are still working and no issues after over 1.5 years of usage.

Overall a good purchase for the price. Sounds good and holds charge well.Noice cancelling is OK, it's more of a passive. Going good for few weeks now. Let's see how long it lasts since my last Altec Lansing product gave up in 7 months.

The sound was vey very low even at max volume. I charged it as the instructions read and connected it to different devices and the results were the same. Once I use the wire connection sound improved But I already own wired headphones. It’s sad because I own a few Altec Lancing speakers (Rockbox XL is awesome btw).

Bought a few of these from Amazons wharehouse as returns and all were like new and worked well. These for my large head and my daughter’s normal size and the sound quality is clean.

The headphones sound great, are comfortable and the noise cancellantion is superv and in general it is great, BUT in general they are pretty difficult to conect to my pixel 3a, sometimes, they will be recognized as a keyboard, sometimes they will be connected but programs won't accept them as an audio output. IDK if it has to do with the headphones, or with the cellphone but that is my experience, in general I can recommend them cuz I don't mid fidgeting with them for a while and I found them on the cheap so it is not a problem for me.
