A must have upgrade for carts with rear seat additions
I installed a rear seat kit on my 2014 Club Car Precedent. Based on recommendations with that seat install I upgraded to these heavy duty springs. Clearly that was a good choice. Stock springs are single leaf. The seat kit alone is about 100 lbs. figure passengers will add another 150+ per person. Stock single leaf springs are not meant for that load. With these four leaf springs I’ve now got a much more stable suspension to handle that weight without overloading.Kit did not come with any instruction but I found plenty of DIY videos on you tube that gave me all the info I needed. Install is all bolt on, no welding or cutting. You’ll need jack stands and a floor jack, along with good variety of sockets and crescent or box end wrenches to get the job done. If you’ve got the tools and modest mechanical skills this can be done DIY.

Super easy to install and great upgrade
My cart had the regular springs on the back and the extra seat. It rubbed constantly with just clubs on the back. It was unbearable with people back there. installing the first side took about 45 minutes as I figured out exactly what needed to be done. The second side took about 15 minutes and that's just because I forgot the reinstall the brake line bracket. I highly recommend using an impact if you have one. It would probably take quite a bit longer without it. The rubbing is absolutely gone now and it rides like a dream. Great bang for you buck upgrade.

5 stars after a little hiccup….read
I’m incredibly happy with this product. It fit nicely and seems like great quality….. with that said, when it arrived it was missing half of the bushings and it was obvious the package had been opened and retaped. The small bag containing the bushings was torn open and they were loose inside the box. This was already returned and no care was taken to ensure everything was there before selling again. I was a bit bummed but I reached out to the seller and they were quick to respond and quick to send out new bushings. I could have reused my old ones on one side. They weren’t bad, I just wanted what I paid for. For the price, still 5 stars and a great seller, thanks!PS: purchased because I got a back seat to cruise the family around the neighborhood. These are necessary and handle the extra weight very well

Very nice upgrade
Easily installed, definitely work the money for a rear seat. Keeps rear from sagging or rubbing.

No instructions but easy installation. Great upgrade
They are Made in USA... No instructions, but pretty easy to install: parking brake off, Jack up rear of vehicle, Jack stands under frame, remove wheels, LOOSTEN spring bolts front and rear (only remove nuts), remove U bolt and nuts, raise rear pumpkin slightly with jack, finish removing spring BOLTS, slide the spring straight out the back of the cart. Assemble in reverse. Then do the same thing for the other side! When assembling make sure the spring centering pin goes in the hole in the axle and the u-bolt plate. Tools needed: 10mm, 13mm,16mm, floor Jack, Jack stands, and lug nut wrench. Took less than 1.5 hours. Match the new springs with the old (there is a front and back). If you have trouble lining up the u-bolt, then turn off your parking brake. The rear of the cart sits about 1.5" higher, and it doesn't sag as much when loaded with 4 adults. Factory u-bolts just barely fit. (1/8" to spare) . Great upgrade! Installed on a 2008+ 48volt precident.

Change one side at time
If I had power tools I would give this 5 stars but I am a old guy and used hand tools. I used a floor jack and small jack stands. I pulled the tires and changed one side at a time. The springs has a long and short length from the center bolt. Just pull the old spring out and place it side the new one to match them up. I used silicon spray on the rubber bushing and they went in with no problem. You need shock extensions or just take the shocks off which I did. The stock U-bolts work just fine. You will have a full nut when tighten. The wife and I did a test ride and was very pleased. The ride was a little stiff but the heavy duty compensated for no shocks. All in all these spring fit and they are a good valve. I would buy these again.

I am in the process of building my "rat-rod" golf cart... I wanted to have a much more stout suspension for this project and went with these HD springs. They worked out just right - Installation was easy - i did however have to work at getting the front bolts out of the old springs. They were corroded to the sleeve pretty good - but a couple of good raps with a heavy hammer did the trick. This phase of the build did include new tires and a 6 inch lift (see pic). Shipping was fast - the package arrived in decent shape - however the Styrofoam in the box was shredded (no worries) they were unharmed and all the hardware was there. Overall happy with my purchase and would buy again for the next build.
