Watch out for new wiring scheme
This will replace the older speed control boards and work great. Instead of 5 wires to the motor, the new control board now has only 4. You can find a YouTube workaround for this. Also, the Hall effect speed sensor is now hard wired to the control board rather than plugged into the control board . This will require completely removing the old speed sensor and plugging in new one from the control board. Again, this can be a little tricky, so just be prepared for this. The clips on the speed sensor are easily broken, so be careful.

Still a great price, even with missing knob!
Fast delivery. Works as described. There is no knob (even though one is pictured) I was able to get my OEM knob off the broken control panel... but there are also 3D printed replacements available for cheap on etsy! -just fyi

Not as advertised
The representation photo, as well as information from other sources for this part, clearly show the knob included as well as the hall effect sensor being the plug in style. The part came with no knob and the sensor is hard wired to the board. Very disappointed because the knob is not an easy piece to replace!

Great part, but missing the knob as shown
This was a perfect replacement for my quite old 6 quart KitchenAid. The old controller board started having issues where the motor would surge in speed, even with no load. The replacement was pretty easy to do. But, the board did not come with the black knob as shown in the pictures. I was able to pull the old knob off the old controller. I wrapped it in some fabric and then carefully used pliers to pull it off. And then pressed it onto the new controller, being careful not to break anything. While I was at it, I cleaned out the gearbox and added new grease. Hopefully my KitchenAid will work for another 10+ years.
