This is not UMF honey. Yes, Mossops are UMF-licensed and they do make UMF manuka honey, but this is not it. Chances are it's a cheap honey blend not good enough to be UMF-certified, which this company has had labelled with a meaningless "bio-active 20+" label to mislead us by making it look like a UMF rating. I steer clear of this and stick to the real UMF honey.

It is labeled manuka honey but ingredients says 100% new zealand honey- why is that?

The Bees can not be controlled to just get pollen from the Manuka Trees. There is really no such thing as 100% of any kind of honey. The bees go were they want to. The 20+ is tested for the activity so it gives the desired results and is not tested for its purity.

According to the their website, their rating system of 20+ has a Methylglyoxal content of 95 mg/kg. That content would equate to UMF 5+ . If UMF 5+ is what you're looking for, then consider this purchase. If not, look elsewhere.
