Bought this to pull some 6mm stainless structural rivets after I destroyed THREE hand rivet guns with them (and popped a tendon in my wrist to boot).Wasn't quite sure if this would handle these aircraft grade stainless rivets, but...It did, and did it EVER.Insert the shank into the tool, set the air pressure, set the riget into the hole and pull the trigger. BANG. One clean, effortless rivetted joint.It will be interesting to see how this gun holds up to what is really an abuse, as I don't think the gun is rated for this grade of rivet, but, 50 rivets in and still going strong. Just remember to oil it, and check the hydraulic oil level BEFORE and AFTER use. Top up as required. My only regret is I didn't buy one earlier.

Great bit of kit with accessories. Not sure what the mail connector fits, but not standard for the UK. Once swapped - all worked great and super value for money.

Works out of the box and rivets well but does not eject the rivet stems, there are always a couple of rivet stems stuck inside the device. This makes it a bit fiddly pushing the next rivet into the jaws. These can be removed when the job is finished easily enough by dismantling the jaw assembly.Mine came with some hydraulic fluid already in but an extra ml was needed to be added to reach the full mark. The cap was extremely tight and needed a 25mm socket and bar to get it undone, the spanner provided was not adequate. It was worth doing this anyway before using as there was a piece of swarf in the air chamber in mine.I would have no problem recommending this tool but I don't know how it will perform long term. It looks very similar to the Clarke CAT 151 riveter which has a better instruction and parts manual which is available on line.

Put together a wetblasting cabinet with it, for the price vs by hand it’s a no brainier just get this one.Ps do need an air compressor.

Only used for a couple of robots currently so long term there may be issues however it worked brilliant and looks solid enough to last a good while.Works off my little 25 ltr Aldi compressor no problem.

This is an amazing tool for riveting, so much easier than a manual rivet gun as you don't get cramp in your hand, boys are making a kit car in the garage and this has been a great purchase

As is so often the case this item was manufactured in China, a fact not disclosed by Amazon.It is a comprehensive kit including clear instructions on how to strip it down for maintenance etc.As it was only delivered yesterday it's too early to speculate on reliability, but it appears to be a reasonable bit of kit.It looses a star because the airline fitting supplied is not compatable with industry standard, although it is the correct thread.
