X3 rear light cluster led driver board replacement - save HUNDREDS !
If you notice your rear light cluster led red lights not coming on - it is highly likely you have a common board failure with the original led driver board in the light cluster. The failure is a dry joint that occurs, so you could find it and re-solder, or very cheaply replace the board with this one which is better quality than the original so you reduce the risk of another failure on the original board in the future. This is very common and if you take your car to the dealer they will look to replace your entire cluster which costs 100's !!. This however is a VERY SIMPLE fix for which you can observe quite a few videos on youtube. You might want to buy a cheap hot glue gun as well - plenty here on amazon so that when you replace the original board you glue the holder with the new board in place (so it won't slip). Really simple fix, literally saving you 100's !

Works but..
Fits easily enough but the board looks nothing like the original.I have a 530d with adaptive headlights, after installing this, my angel eyes and indicator started to work again but the adaptive headlights don't move now. It states in the ad that it's compatible with adaptive headlights. They're not!!The headlight is now starting to do strange things. When locking/unlocking the indicator either flashes or not. Sometimes when indicating instead of the indicator the headlight will come on instead. This has been fitted to my car for two weeks!!The other strange thing is with the indicator not working you don't get any warnings on the dash either. Not good.Get a proper one! Will save you time and money in the long run!!Not happy but can't return as it's outside the return window!

Working well now
I have installed third-party light boards before and water got in to them after the head unit was not sealed properly so they needed replacing again. I seen mixed reviews of these on Amazon but thought for the price it was worth a go. When I first fitted them it fixed the Halo light but kept showing the vertical aim error on the dashboard. I swapped them from side to side a couple of times to see if the error swap sides. I was about to give up and as I went to put the car in the garage I noticed that all the warning lights had gone. They have now been working fine for over a month with no errors.Maybe swapping them over cleaned one of the contacts, I am not sure.

Fantastic for Seat Exeo HID
Recently went through some water in my Seat exeo and the ballast died. New genuine is unavailable from Seat and second hand was a joke. Cross referenced the numbers on genuine ballast and discovered this one. At the price it was, it was worth a try. Works great with no fault codes or errors.

Works but my car needed the ECU to be coded in
Bought this to fix my BMW F11's adaptive headlight and angel/side light. Upon replacement, all the lights worked but the errors on my dash remained. The only way to get rid of them (and to pass MoT) was to get an auto electrician to 'learn in' the new TMS module, and then 're-initialise' using ISTA+&ISTA-P which cost another £60. Cars with halogen headlights may not have this code-in errors but it appears if you have xenon adaptive headlight your car will definitely need to additional coding
