WORKS WELL !
I had a similar gadget for years and it finally wore out. The concept of moving up an opposite power to see if the battery works is very useful. I found the instrument very easy to use and I know it will be used for years ! And also a great price !

No frills battery tester. Seems accurate. Easy to use. Small and compact.

Works as expected
I don’t know how to compare it to others, since this is the only one I have. However it feels light and “cheap”, but it was cheap, which is why I chose this one. It does what it’s supposed to do. It’s a little touchy. If you’re not careful on where it’s positioned, it’ll appear to need replaced even if it doesn’t. So you just have to move it around a little to see if it changes to the correct spot.

Works well
It works well. As batteries are expensive, this is a tester to have. I recently replaced 7 - 9V batteries in my smoke detectors. I got this tester out of curiosity and found that only 1 needed replacement!As others have mentioned, it's not a heavy duty tester but, it works and honestly, how often do you need to use it?? It's inexpensive enough to buy, use it and put it away until it's needed again

This is the one to buy!
I bought this little tester for my Mom who had a box full of various sizes of batteries of unknown status. We tested them all and found many that were still full power and some that were ready for the trash bin. This tester is:-- accurate;-- quick and easy to use;-- battery size and orientation markings are easy to read and understand by anyone;-- very budget friendly!

Works ok. Not the best.
The lever that holds the battery is not spring loaded. Hard to hold the battery and the lever at the same time.
