You have to purchase vinegar
Very easy to use just added vinegar. The hoses are made of metal, so they are very sturdy and will be great to use for several years to come.

Great kit!
Everything you need (except the vinegar) in a sturdy 3-gallon bucket. Great little pump, metal-sheathed hoses, printed flushing instructions and a service/maintenance tags for keeping track of when you last serviced your tankless water heater. Highly recommend!

DrainX tankless water heater flush
The media could not be loaded. Was a good purchase, however the weight of pump & gallon of cleaning vinegar cracked the bucket it comes in during shipping. Did a return via Amazon and they sent me a new kit promptly. Comes with easy to follow instructions. Flushing out tankless water heater is a breeze and no need to call a plumber.

Convenient, performed well
Convenient routine maintenance with all pieces provided and in a storage bucket. Even a hang tag to record date performed. Separately purchased J.C. Whitlam FLOW32 Flow-Aide System Descaler 32 ounces.

High quality and it worked great
This feels like a quality pump and it made quick work of descaling my water heater. I definitely recommend it for others. Although you could just buy parts to do this it is nice to have dedicated components since this is servicing a potable water supply. The bucket will store it all neatly until next year.Two things to note, neither of which is a problem with this product:A) the motor is filled with an oil so it sounds like you haven't drained all the water out after use. It is just the oil sloshing about internally.B) the instructions are quite generic and omit an important step for my Noritz heater. This heater requires the cover to be removed and an electrical connection to be made internally to put it in cleaning mode. I recommend checking the manufacturer's instructions before you start.

Terrible bucket quality
Bucket cracked both times when received. Had to duct tape it and let it leak because I didn’t want to wait another week for a third one.Everything else was fine. The bucket is critical. Get it right and make a better bucket

Easy to Use
I purchased this flush kit to flush my tankless hot water heater. It worked great. No issues easy to use and easy to clean up after. I like that everything you need to get the job done comes in the kit and then you can store it all in the bucket that came with it. The solution that I used to flush the heater with did not come with the kit, I used vinegar.
