Hilarious and educational
I bought this for my 8 yr old after he read Kay's anatomy. He is laughing out loud and learning at the same time. Brilliantly funny and creatively written. My son says it's very easy to read with humourous illustrations, which help him remember the facts.

Excellent follow up to Kay’s Anatomy
My 9 year old book worm was sad when he finished reading Kay’s Anatomy so we had to get this one too. Now he’s finished Kay’s Marvellous Medicine and he’s even more sad! He’s really enjoyed reading these books, and they’ve taught him loads. I’d totally recommend them and will also buy them for gifts.I only hope there are more to come!

Very good
Now, obviously I'm not the target audience, but I really did enjoy this book. I had to rephrase certain words and miss out some altogether. Kids will probably love the "funny" language in it. There are chapters on the Lungs, Heart etc and each chapter tells what they did; in relation to the lungs, or the heart, for example in Ancient Egypt, Ancient Rome et al, including Sparkle Time (Kay's name for the Middle Ages) As well as this there are also breakthroughs that happened in a particular year. Also, there are sections on the most important medical pioneers, like Marie Curie etc, called 5 facts and a lie. I found it entertaining, informative; there were some things I didn't know. You get predictions from Lays robot butler; most of which genuinely are interesting. It is aimed at children, but it's still a very good read overall.

Easy, laugh out loud and educational
This is a change of pace for my son. He loves facts books but was advised to read more story books by his teacher. This was a good compromise. He reads to his sister and both of them are in stitches. It's not hard to read and the illustrations and great. What's not to love. History and medicine rolled into one. It's a must buy and worth every penny.

Educational and laugh out loud book for children
Bought this book for my 9 year old grandson as an "extra" Christmas present, not only is it educational but it is also very funny and well written. If your children or grandchildren like the BBC TV series Horrible Histories, then they'll love this book too it presents factual information in a way that is both interesting, intelligent and also fun to read.I read it myself before wrapping and it's great!
