Will this transfer color onto shirts etc?

No the color does not transfer from mat to garment. It’s made for heat. I love mine works great.!

Can this heat press pad be used with any machine for tee shirts?

What do you mean, “can I use it with any machine.”. It works fine with any Cricut Heat presses, home iron and sure with any other heat press. Haven’t had any issues yet.

Is the pad flexible/bendable so it can be used on a curved platen or surface?

Yes it’s bendable also great quality
