I was not looking forward to changing out the valve in my basketball, but I watched a video and decided this was something I could do. This kit worked great! I have extra valves for the future now too!

The valves are amazing. VERY easy to install. So easy that I thought I had done something wrong. The valve puller that comes in the package, however is awful. It does not work. I ended up using a crochet hook to get the old valves out. That worked well. I should have used a slightly smaller hook though, because I accidentally pushed some of the old valves into some of the balls and my girls soccer team now hate using those ones because the rattle. Maybe lube the hook too, to ensure that the hook goes through the valve all the way before trying to fish it out. I have no idea how the get the ones I mess up on out.

So glad I purchased this item. Replace my first valve tonight. Using it on volleyballs for my school team. The picture shows the old disintegrating valve I removed next to one of the new ones. The removal was easy. I used the tool in the kit and it pulled it right out. I used glycerin as the lubricant. I read it was the best for inflating balls. Putting in the new valve was harder. I used a small pair of needle nosed plyers and grasped the valve just on top of the fat part of the valve and pushed hard. I will do more balls tomorrow. I recommend this product.

Great product! Includes everything you need to repair a ball. I’ve repaired three balls already and they’re still inflated.

The extraction tool is worthless. After watching the provided how to video (and others online) I tried 6 times very patiently to replace the valve on a soccer ball. Every single one fell into the ball and the last one worked for a day and then leaked the next day. Bummer. Don't get these.

I purchased these because the description said they would fit most balls. They do NOT fit Tachikara volleyballs. The collar diameter is too large. I was able to use a belt sander to sand the collar down a diameter that fit, and the ball has held pressure for 3-4 days. I have not played with the ball yet to see if this repair will hold up. I think this is nifty kit, if the valves are the right fit. If the valve would have fit I probably would have given it a 5 star rating.

I replaced my old plug with a new plug. It took a lot of work to remove the old plug the tool they give in the kit, the hook isn't very good.Putting the new plug in takes a bit of work. DONT CUT THE EXCESS PLUG off to soon fill with air to see if you have any leaks.You may have to push it down more to seal the plug. That was my mistake and had to replace the plug again cutting it to soon.(What sticks out from the ball)

The kit did not come with any type of instructions or links to intructions, and now my son's favorite ball is still not usable.
