No pmw or RBG control from motherboard.
These guys use a special controller of their own design, sadly despite it specfically mentions msi mystic light support it doesnt not work so you cannot pair the lights on the fans to the lights on the gpu's case motherboard and etc. Not only that it lists a 600-200 rpm with up to 53 cfm. In reality there is no pmw they just sit at 1100 rpm coasting along. I bought these for a Super tower dual motherboard Extreme gaming setup saving 66% over the closets items tyhat on paper do the same thing but sadly they dont have any of those features hence the cost savings. Disapointed to have to return 250$ in fans but simply not as advertised.

Looks promising. First Hub was awful, 2nd was WAY BETTER. Replacement fans LED's were fine
I never, ever learn. If it looks too good to be true, it probably is. That is the story of my life. I ordered these due to the phenomenal price and great reviews, which I now question. These fans look great and are really fine quality. They are NOT thin and flimsy at all and are on par or better than the CM fans on my AIO.The problem started with the HUB, which can hold up to 10 fans. THAT would be amazing if the fans actually stayed plugged in! There is NO WAY anyone on the face of this planet has 10 fans plugged into this hub and has all of their hair left in their head. Took me forever and a day to get three to remain plugged in. You will need a SATA connection free to plug the HUB in. The HUB also features fan and ARGB connections. The ARGB connect has 2 different motherboard headers. One for ASUS & MSI motherboards, and one for Gigabyte motherboards. Besides the HUB, the installation was pretty routine. When I turned on my PC for the first time all 3 fans LED's worked. Awesome! Then I had to restart, and only 2 of them came back on. OK, that's odd. I open Aura Sync to make sure these are addressable, and yes they are. Having read the instructions first I saw that you need to double-tap the remote power button to change it to sync mode. Awesome, now it's is doing the same thing as my AIO. Man, I wish that LED would not have stopped working. Maybe I will re-boot and it will be OK. LOL.I re-boot, and yes you guessed it. I now have only one fan left with the LEDs working, as you can see from the pics I've uploaded. It's to bad too, because these fans are pretty nice quality. WAY better than I thought they would be. So yes, I wasted $30. I'm not gonna open my case back up, take the fans out, pack them up, and ship them back. It's just not worth the time. If they would send me 2 new fans, that would be amazing, but I doubt that will happen.***UPDATE: Got in touch with Cust Service. The very nice young lady sent a new set of fans. As you can see from the pics they are working fine. They are also working fine with Aura Sync and the hub is like 954215687 times better than the first. Everything has a nice and snug fit in the HUB. Hopefully, everything continues to work this way!!!If anything changes, I'll be sure to post an update!

Decent fans, not great instructions
Received the fans and they're definitely decent fans for the price, solid rgb lighting and good performance. Instructions were mediocre due to the following issues and caveats I encountered after installation.1. Fans are using a proprietary connection so it's a single cable to their fan controller hub. Cannot use the fans to other hubs due to this fact.2. There's no specific ordering noted on the fan hub, the reason why I bring this up is due to the fact that my motherboard did not detect the fans in UEFI bios, even though the fans were spinning and RGB lights working correctly. I then re-arrange the fan plugs in the hub to start on the right corner after the aRGB plug with the hub logo facing up. The motherboard then detected the fans under chassis/case fans.3. To set the fans to PWM mode you need to press the W button three times on the remote, if you don't do so they'll just run at whatever the remote has set for the fan speed.4. Once set to PWM on the remote, you then need to set your bios fan control to PWM.5. To control RGB through your motherboard, double tap the power button on the remote. Some of these steps are also written on the provided instructions, but the wall of text on the manual is a bit off putting. Also the exhaust side is always the side where the fan cross frame is located, just a tip. All in all I hope this helps some people going forward purchasing this fan set, I'm pretty sure the hub issue may persist in their other models too.
