SuperStroke CounterCore Pistol GT™

This SuperStroke putter grip is good and as described. It has a nice, soft feel and makes putting better. I installed this myself and have installed other grips in the past but this one was a bit tough. If you add a ton of solution, it should slide on with ease but this did not. I eventually got it on but once it got stuck, I had to keep twisting it until it was in place. I recommend if you buy this, make sure you have a vice to really hold it in place during installation. It takes some effort.

I like the pistol grip better than the standard because it helps me repeat the same grip each and everytime. The convex seam fits my knuckle between the middle and proximal phalange perfectly. This gives a nice solid feel with little grip pressure.The counter weight is perfect on my Cameron Red X. It's especially noticeable on short to medium distance putts. There's a new smoothness to the takeaway and deviation at impact and follow through. Definitely noticeable.Give it a try I think you'll feel a difference right away. Taking the counter weight out really tells the tale. You'll see and feel the difference.

I love this grip, I made more short putt on this grip and better on lag putting. I had this grip 3 years ago then I change it to a bigger grip. Oh boy mess up my putting stroke, I missed a lot of short putts on a bigger grip. This putter grip brings my 10 HDCP to 8 HDCP in under 2 months. Love it. Remember we still need to practice but with the right tool. Thanks.

This is THE BEST of the superstroke series for those of us who don't want that huge flat surface. This has "no taper" so it feels good. At 1.0" diameter it is perfect for those of us who grew up with the Ping Putter Grip of Tiger Woods era. I think the huge super strokes lack feel. They are so much on trying to take the hands out of putting that they over do that.This grip in addition to no taper, which feels good, has a seam on the back that reminds me of the rib iron grips of yesteryear as well They are making a comeback too. But this rib seam along with 1.0 diameter is just so SWEET.I bought the super stroke counter core 1.2" diam, and installed it. It was not what I thought I ordered but it was $32 so i put it on. And I hated it. I turned around and ordered the correct version, this GT Tour version. It was worth the $64 sacrifice to get it right.Now last but not least. The counter core WORKS. It works. It makes the overall putter heavy enough to work the big muscles. I got the 25g and the 75g weights. But the 50g that comes with this is already the best choice.Buy it, Try it. I love mine.

Installed grip like I have always done used grip solvent and when I went to snug up shaft weight it will not tighten because plastic threaded insert is stripped out it just spins now weight will not tighten and it rattles.

Love the counter weighting. This is my second.

My putter had a little bit of lead tape on the end of the shaft, under the grip. I took that tape off and put this grip on and the feel is different now, but I think with a couple of hours on the putting green I'll get used to it. The putter feels a little lighter in the head now, probably because the center of gravity moved 2 inches up. It swings very smooth and I think the grip being the same diameter from top to bottom is a good thing, it'll just take a little getting used to. By the way, the fit on the shaft of the putter was VERY tight... you have to use plenty of solvent and push it on firmly. Again, that's a good thing as it won't be moving around. The build quality is solid and should wear very well, for many years. I think I'll get the other weights too to see how they change the feel.

When I first started playing golf, putting was the only thing that I was good at. I was confident when I finally got on the green. I always felt no matter where I was, it was going in. Then 1 day it all changed. It was like I had never putted before. Couldn't sink a 1 footer. Lost all confidence. I hated being on the green knowing what was ahead for not only me but my playing buddies. Tried every style of putters and I couldn't sink 1 for my life. So I decided, what could it hurt? So I purchased this. Put it on an older Ping Pal 4. My very first putt with it I was really just wanting to see if the counter balance made a difference and if I could feel the extra weight. First putt rolled purer than any I've hit. Second same. They didn't stop and haven't yet. My confidence is back and the putts are dropping. Totally amazing product.
