A review from the wife... This subtly citrus fragranced soap suited my skin well. It lathers easily and feels very fresh and clean. It is a big bar of soap at 100g. The efficient foaming means that it doesn't use up a lot at a time. I also found it very moisturising on my skin with no adverse reactions. I like the eco credentials of the packaging; it comes in a recycled cardboard box with information printed on it using plant ink. Overall then, a good, effective cleansing soap with environmentally friendly packaging. Yes, it is slightly more expensive than regular soaps in the market but it is effective and eco friendly.

I have been loving some of Puressentiel's products and this purifying extra rich soap is no exception! I love how refreshing it is and how effective it is at neutralising unwanted smells on your hands such as garlic. The soap has an interesting fragrance, in this case: Lemon, Lavandin, and Tea tree which work in harmony to make the soap smell unique yet one that seriously cleans your hands properly.I love that it is very kind to skin, especially for those that are like me and suffer from eczema. My skin doesn't crack or dry out after using the soap. This is a testament to the quality ingredients that are used. in this case, the organic shea butter which helps to keep your hands hydrated after use. I should also say that this soap does a great job not just for hands, but also on the body! Though it was a little too strong to use on my face due to my sensitive skin.Overall, 5 stars!Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! :)

Simply packaged in a cardboard box with no extra packaging which I like.I used to use a well know soap and cleansing bar which came in lovely green packaging and whilst expensive suited my skin for years. As I got older I found it more and more drying on my face/body so ended up using liquid cleansers instead. Whilst they have worked fine I have always yearned to go back to a good old bar of soap as I feel squeaky clean afterwards.This Puressentiel 100g Soap Bar is very delicately scented, lathers really well and is less than a third of the price of one of the bars I used in the past. Not only did it leave my skin really clean and refreshed there was no drying on my over sixties skin which I am very pleased about. I particularly like the fact it contains no parabens, phenoxyethanol, palm oil, preservatives, synthetic fragrances or alcohol. So far after a week of twice daily use I am very impressed with how it is performing especially at the price of £6.99 at time of review.
