Life happens and I wasn't able to use this, but today I did! This is a lovely game changer, I always worried I wasn't mixing two part epoxy good enough so here we are. It's sturdy, cleans up like a dream, isn't massive so those are all a big win but best of all my stupid shoulder doesn't matter anymore if I'll play with epoxy because this does all the work and makes less bubbles than my stirring did! Glad I got this.

I love it. I am so grateful for the way it works. I needed an affordable one.

Does not work and the seller still has not responded to the request for replacement
Purchased this product, followed the instructions, let it charge for the 3-5hrs and after 8hrs the item was still showing a red charge light. I took it off the charge and it would not operate. I contacted Amazon and they walked me through its operation and verified it was defective product and then walked me through contacting the seller for a replacement and said the seller would contact me back within the allotted time based on being an Amazon verified seller with Amazon guarantee. I still have not heard back from the seller and am not very happy about it. In the meantime, I have allowed the unit to continue to charge for over a 24hr period and it still will not accept a charge.Update: I was sent a second unit. Same issue, the thing was completely depleted on battery charge when it arrived, and I left it on charge for over 24 hrs. I decided it must be something I am doing wrong, so before doing anything further to contact the seller, being an electrician trained, I opened up one unit and checked it out. It appeared to be in working condition with no shorts so I found a battery replacement on Amazon and ordered 2 at a cost of $17 but it was an upgrade with greater capacity. I desoldered the old battery and soldered in the new one and it worked and charged just fine. So now I have 2working units. If I were to do it again, I would not even purchase the units rather, I would have just purchased the replacement paddles, which do work great and a bag of several paddles are much cheaper and work great in my Milwaukee compact 1/4” impact gun.

Good mixer
This is a great mixer. I’m happy it has 2 of everything so if I’m creating multiple mixes in one session I don’t have to clean between uses. One thing I would like to see changed is for it to be 2-speed. The speed it rotates at now creates a lot air bubbles.

Essential for Resin Work
Handheld Rechargeable Epoxy Resin MixerI've been working with resin for 6 months now and I love it, but I hate the mixing. To properly mix resin you have to do it for a good five minutes and working so thoroughly that your arm hurts by the end of it, but you also don't want to "churn" the mix like you're working butter or you'll end up with a mess of bubbles in your resin. It's a huge pain in the rear and not easy or intuitive at all. (Especially if you're a novice baker who is used to it being a GOOD thing when you introduce air into a mix!)Anyway, I was watching a professional resin-worker on youtube and they pulled out one of these mixers and my eyes were opened. I didn't even know such a thing existed! I was a little worried about how to clean a mixing tool when I was previously using wooden sticks that I just threw away afterwards, but I figured I'd learn as I went. I bought this and it changed my life. This little baby goes and goes like a champ. I charge it overnight with the included charging cable and then unplug it when I want to work. The battery has never once given out on me. I plunge it into the resin all the way to the bottom of the cup, then turn it on--that gives it a chance to mix without introducing air. Then I bring the mixer up slowly through the resin and make sure it's all thoroughly mixed. My arms are saved and I haven't had a single bad batch since I bought this mixer. As for cleaning: it couldn't be easier. After mixing, I turn off the mixer and let it drip-dry on a paper towel while I work with my mixed resin. Then when I'm done with my work and cleaning up for the night, I wipe the mixer down with another paper towel to get all the residue off. If I miss anything, it just hardens and I peel it off the next time I sit down to work, but I rarely need to do even that.I now consider this mixer to be the most important tool in my resin workshop and essential for any kind of resin work.~ Ana Mardoll

It worked then didn't
I used this item only a couple of times. It really did get out the bubbles for my resin mixtures and worked perfectly. I went to go use it one day after a couple months past to use it again and tried to turn it on, it didn't turn on, so I obviously charged it, still didn't work. I only really got to use this like 3 times and each time it wasn't longer than 3-5 minutes. I wouldn't buy this brand again but try looking for another cordless mixer that lasts longer. It could've been a manufacturer problem. I stored it correctly and followed the instructions carefully (there isn't much said) so who knows why it stopped working.

Nice rest!
Nice rest for the wrist when stirring resin.

A must have for small batches.
This worked perfect, I have not been so happy with a purchase in a while. So far I have mixed a cup and a 1/2 of resin altogether anymore and it's a little flimsy because it is plastic. But the plastic ones are very easy to use and very easy to clean and if you forget to clean it and resin dries you can throw it out and not feel bad about getting another one. This wand would be great for beginners or jewelry makers or anybody mixing in smaller batches but if you're making tables you might want to think about getting the more durable metal one that you put on your drill. I am 100% satisfied with this purchase and now I'm looking for replacements for the plastic blades.
