Q: Is the plastic bpa free?

The bottom of the bottle has the PET 1 recyclable symbol. Here is the info I found out: PET is globally recognized as a safe, recyclable packaging material. Most single-serve plastic bottles, including those for water, soft drinks and juices, are made with PET, which can be recycled and does not contain BPA.

Q: Do you use this Colavita EVOO for marinades as well as cooking?

If I use oil as marinade, it's fine to use my evoo I do with veggies Now I brine meat instead of a marinade. I feel it make the meat more tender. Do saute with evoo never use lite evoo (watered)

Yes it works well in a marinade, pasta dishes, salads. Infuse it with fresh garlic for a great dip for Italian bread!

Q: What’s the expiration date?

I'm not sure. This was purchased 8 months ago, and was sour on arrival.
