Arline, Thank you very much for submitting a question. Our Serrapeptase 80K does NOT contain Magnesium Stearate. The only ingredient of the product is enteric-coated serrapeptase. Enteric-coating is very important, because without it, the enzymes could be rendered useless when it passes through the stomach. Additionally, our enteric-coating process uses a food-grade compound, and we do NOT use phthalates to coat our enzymes. We have been producing enzymes in southern California since 1985.
