The Golden Ratio Coloring Book: And Other Mathematical Patterns Inspired by Nature and Art Paperback – November 1, 2016

This book is a beautiful set of very color-able designs created using simple mathematical principles. It also contains some explanation behind the math.The paper is bright white (always my preference for anything abstract) and fairly thick. Unfortunately, the pages are not perforated and the printing is on both sides. Fortunately, the designs do not run into the spine. I like the book well enough that I'm going to buy a second copy to use for the left-hand pages.

Beautiful tesselations and other mathematical figures abound in this book. The pages are heavy and take well to any marker with no bleed through. A very satisfying experience!

Love this coloring book! The paper is no e and thick and doesn't etch or bleed easily. The data on the The Golden Ratio itself is fascinating. I am truly enjoying coloring the first image in the book and look forward to many more.

The designs are fascinating, and many are very complex. Some are intricate enough that you could lose a whole day to coloring just one. The only reason I've deducted a star is because the pages are PRINTED on BOTH SIDES. I'm concerned that colors may bleed through, thereby ruining the design on the reverse. The paper is like index card stock - not flimsy, but thin enough that dark colors may very well show through. So, I will probably just color one side(kind of a waste...). As a compulsive colorer, I would have been willing to pay more for more paper - so every design had its own page. ...On the bright side, it will take many hours to complete even one of the designs, This book would make a great gift for someone in the hospital or housebound.

I purchased this coloring book at the beginning of COVID-19. It was such a lovely purchase because of all the beautiful designs and the variety of patterns between each page. I would highly recommend this coloring book to anyone looking for a special one like this.

Beautiful, meditative, and soothing to the eye. The designs are minimal, and oh so pleasing to peruse. I'm a sucker for great design, and the cover art is just gorgeous, so it's perfect if you're looking for a coffee table book that can also provide some entertainment for guests.

Has a lot of cool info on math fractals. You will not want to remove the pages, but if you're careful it can all be kept as a keepsake.
