Large Stackable 18650 Battery Holder Case (Fits 160 x Cells) Big Size (Superior 18650 Spacer) - 1 Tray Only

Before these battery cases arrived I was losing sleep at night wondering if one of the un-insulated 18650s I salvaged would roll over and short out; now I rest assured knowing all my cells are safely stored & organized based on what stage they are at for processing. I've ordered more to keep raw cells, tested, and untested; need cleaning, etc. These bins are perfect for anyone harvesting 18650 cells in bulk; they take up little space compared to other options and are spaced just enough to avoid contact with one another. Another feature I love is the small square cutout at the bottom of each cell slot leaving the option for the more adventurous among us for adding charging rails/grid in the future for bulk charging in parallel; however, I have yet to go down this road as I have not drafted the full system that would include individual cell protection. The bins measure approximately 9"x14"x3.125" empty with the top of each cell sticking up about 1/4" above the edge. 2 bins stacked are just short of 6.25" to the rim, 6.5" from the bottom of the foot to the top of the cell. I would highly recommend these bins they are worth the money and are built to last.

Like many others, I've been using the 4x5 or similar sized cell spacers as holders for my cells while I recover them from battery backs and test them. Not sure how many others have knocked over stacks like I have. I have limited space to work in my house, so I have to go vertical with my storage. I ordered one of these as a test, deterred a little by the price but the possible convenience won me over to try it. After it arrived and I started moving cells into it, I was sold and ordered two more. These are PERFECT for storing my cells. Stable, can stack them, and much less likely to knock over a stack. Almost impossible for the cat to knock over a stack. Will likely keep ordering them as my budget allows. Put all the cells I have tested so far from my current project and freed up cell spacers to use for building packs and sorting other cells by capacity, and the next two will arrive just after I finish filling this one.

Packaging was fine but whoever handled this thing during packing must have dripped something on it! Like I said, for $25 and the long delivery time it needs to arrive as advertised or you can have it back!

This costs a little more than it should in my book, but it does a great job storing cells. I will be buying another soon

I recover lithium cells to build battery walls and packs. These bins are a good way to safely store and see your inventory of 18650 cells. They are kept in individual compartments, so there is little chance of a short or damage. The stackablety of these bins makes them very convenient and they take up much less storage space. I have ordered several more bins to hold my inventory.
