With iPad mini 6, my favorite way to play games
A portable gaming device like I wanted doesn’t exist but this with my iPad mini 6 is the perfect solution. Works as well as any console, it’s very portable, has a large screen and it’s the only way I really play games now

Device is iOS compatible, little uncomfortable for extended sessions but nothing else like it.
UPDATED REVIEWRaised to 4 stars. The seller clarified that it is ok with any USB port. And i have now tested with iOS and i got it working with arcade titles like shantae and used it to play couple of hours of minecraft dungeons via xbox cloud play.If you want something for xcloud and ipad 11" - this is likely your only option (or standalone controller).Original REVIEWHaven't used it yet, as i literally cannot charge it as I own ZERO 5v 1A chargers; apparently if they are higher that 1A it will damage the controller. There is no way to explain to a child to only plug it into a 5V 1A USB port. Secondly the lock function is unusable on a 11" iPad Pro - as such there is no way to secure it properly (the manual is clear the lock should be enabled before use). Its reasonably comfortable, though i think i would prefer triggers than the second set of shoulder buttons. If i find a way to charge it without damaging it i will update review to reflect how it functions as a controller.

An okay iPad Mini 6 option
I bought this for use with my iPad Mini 6. Since there aren't many controllers like this that support iOS, this controller automatically gets +1 star. One quick note for iPad Mini 6 owners: the power or volume buttons will be pressed when the controller clamps down. This isn't really the controller's fault. I stuck on some rubber feet to the inner sides of the controller to make standoffs so that the buttons aren't pressed.Onto the pros:* The controller connects quickly and starts working immediately.* Secure -- the springy clamp holds it well.Well, that's about it as far as pros go. Now onto the cons.* Not very ergonomic -- when you first start using it, it seems like it should be comfortable, but it doesn't work well for long sessions. It's a big stretch for your hands to use the face buttons at the bottom of the controller along with the trigger buttons at the very top of the controller. After an hour or two, my right hand really started to hurt, and I have big hands. It doesn't help that you have to push the buttons fairly hard, which brings me to the next con.* Horrible buttons -- the rubber-membrane buttons drop inputs all the time. You have to hit the button with a little extra force, or hit them directly head-on in the center. If you press them at the edge of the button or you are off-centered, you'll feel the "click" of the button but no action registers in-game.* Horrible analog sticks -- the deadzone is massive and there's inconceivably strong X/Y axis snapping happening. What I mean is that if you are holding forward to run, then try to steer left or right slightly, you have to push almost 30 degrees to either side before a Left/Right input is registered. It's horrendous.* Overall build quality: the buttons rattle around in the case. The plastic is thin and cheap. The Start and Select buttons are tiny and have a cheap sounding click. The spring clamping mechanism is nice and solid, however.

Left joystick is defected and no customer service
The controller worked well for 3 months. After normal use the left joystick stopped moving up-right diagonal direction. I've re-connected the bluetooth, push the reset button and fully charged the controller and still not working. I've tried using it on different devices, iPhone 13, iPad Pro 10.5 and Samsung Galaxy and it experiences the same issue. I left him multiple message to try to resolve the issue and have not heard back in days and weeks. Not even sure if there is any warranty for this controller? I would beware buying this product. Lifespan of this controller is short with no support at all.

Not good
Tried this with an 11” IPad Pro. I have several likes and dislikes.Likes:Good analogs. It holds my 11” iPad in its case.Easy to set up.Dislikes:ABXY button placement isn’t good. I had to hold the entire thing at an angle to press the buttons.Having the right analog over the ABXY is awful!D pad isn’t good either. Pressing up is touchy. If not pressed straight up, will move left and right. Down was ok.Extension is made really cheap. Springs retract the extension and cheap plastic lock for the left extension that locks into place for tablets.Triggers are a pain to use. Placement is bad. Unlike PlayStation of Xbox, triggers are to far out. You have to really extend your middle fingers to press them.If you don’t have a case on your device, clamping it in the controller is awkward. Leaving a case on is best. And to top it all off, holding a tablet with a case in the controller is HEAVY!It’s cool to hold a tablet like that and have such big screen to play on. But the poor control layout and the weight of the whole thing was unusable Short or long term.

Good controller with a few minor issues
Overall, I'm very satisfied with the product. The quality is great. The instructions are clear if you follow them correctly. The only connectivity issue that I continuously have is the fact that when it turns off you must put it back into the mode it was in. It doesn't have a memory which is kind of annoying. But given the fact I can play G-Force now and play anything I want on my Samsung Galaxy tab s6 lite. It's amazing! Having a 10.5inch screen. The joysticks and buttons on the right hand side should be switched so that the buttons are above the joystick. But that's nothing you can't get used to. Because given the fact that you're going to be using a heavier tablet more than likely with this device, it kind of gives you more stability with having the joysticks across from each other. It does in fact have a USBC port, not a micro USB. I do not notice any lag whatsoever once I was able to pair it correctly.******Update after getting the opportunity to test my daughters larger tablet. I can confirm that this controller will fit up to a iPad Pro 12.9!!!!*******
