Excellent product. I bought this product for having shell extraction issues out of a Remington 870. I used this product with the Flex hone oil. I am happy to say now I do not have the shell extraction issue. The shotgun shoots any brand name round and ejects them like its supposed to. Originally I sent the shotgun back to Remington. They polished the inside of the area where the shell sits inside. I felt the metal and it was stiff rough. When I took it to the range I had the same extraction issue. Unfortunately Remington did not remedy there quality control issue. I am sure glad flex hone makes this product. It relieved my frustration. I polished the entire barrel. Also make sure to polish chamber area too. Because the 870 has a single extractor it puts pressure on the opposite side and it creates drag and makes it very difficult to extract the shell when you pump the gun. All the machine marks on the barrel are now gone. There was a lot. Watch the youtube flex hone video for instructions its real simple. After your done with the flex hone you need to wash the barrel. I then polished the chamber and barrel. I used a metal polish, a cordless drill, 12 gauge gun cleaning brush that I attached and put 2 cleaning patches around the brush. Put a few drops of polish and go to work. To take the product off I put 2 new patch on the brush and polished the product off. I did this 5 times. The results are great.

As the title says, I was having issues with shells becoming stuck in the chamber of my KSG for no apparent reason. It felt like there was a mechanical "wall" that was keeping me from racking the action and extracting the shell. I did not want to send it back to the manufacturer out of fears they would make me pay all shipping and would claim it was normal, or no difference would be made upon the firearms return 3 months later.Enter this handy item! Took about 15 minutes with the drill, and another 15 minutes of thorough cleaning and no more apparent issues. Shells extract and eject without any obvious resistance and my issue appears to have been resolved. I managed to cycle 50 shells without malfunction and called it a day. Prior to using the Flex-Hone, I was lucky to empty a magazine tube without at least one malfunction that would cause me to need to disassemble in order to remove the casing. Almost caused me to give up on the KSG entirely.I recommend getting their honing oil as well, the smallest size will work. Anyone who is looking to make their KSG more reliable or are otherwise having extraction issues, look no further. Buy without hesitation.

Just what I needed and it worked great, plus fast service

Used this tool to hone the chamber of my KSG. Might’ve overdone it a bit, as I chewed up the tool in a single use (likely insufficient lubrication, operator error), but the hone job resolved my failure to extract problem entirely. Worth every penny for restoring reliability.

I had an issue with a new shotgun not extracting because the spent shell was too swollen. Ran this honer a few times, then a copper brush, then cleaned and oiled. Runs like a champ and no sticking shell's. Highly recommended and easy to use.

This product worked great and quickly removed the ridges from the chamber of my shotgun. I would recommend it to anyone having problems with failure to extract on a 12ga

I had read about this Flex-Hone product and watched their videos before purchasing. I have an old Mossberg 500 with some rust in the barrel and a bit of burring around the inside of the rim of the barrel. I oiled up the Flex-Hone, got it spinning, and put it down the barrel several times from both sides adding oil as needed. Now the rust and burring are all gone and the barrel looks brand new and smooth as a baby's butt!

Bought an old Mossberg 12ga. Spent shells were difficult if not impossible to extract. This item was discussed online and I found it on Amazon. Took about 30 minutes but now it cycles perfectly. Shot it this morning and had zero issues. Buy the honing oil as well.
