Perfect closet light!
This bright, rechargeable stick light mounts right inside my closet door and I can easily find what I want to wear. It's lightweight and easy to install. It even comes with the mounting hardware. A great value for the price!

Out of the darkness with Bell Howell Lights
Great product to have if one doesn't have a generator when an outage occurs during a storm. It's brigh and illuminates the room. Versatile since it can be hung or placed on a table for floor; also it can be carried from room to room; I ordered two lights and now on this date June 19 the weather forecaster predicted a storm that might cause a black out or outage and I don't care because I have the Bell Howell lights ready to use.

Good product but a minor charging issue
I purchased this item in September 2017. It is a good product and puts out a generous amount of life. My only concern was this: The instructions said to use the charging cord to initially obtain a full charge in about 24 hours, after which the red charging light would go out to show that the device was fully charged. I left it plugged in for four days, and the light did not go out. So I finally unplugged it and I'm hoping it received a full charge despite the light staying on.

The Bell & Howell Light Bar: still a disappointment
The Bell & Howell Light Bar used to be a big TV promotion along with the TacLight, TacVisor and other similar products. Why it has since faded from the limelight is perhaps because few people buy it and it lacks some common sense features. First off, it needs a better battery. The Light Bar doesn't hold a charge for very long. If you forget to turn it off for fifteen or twenty minutes, you'll have a dead battery and you'll need to recharge it from a wall socket overnight. Another reviewer here claims he took apart his Light Bar to find two tiny lead acid batteries. No wonder it poops out so quickly! One would have expected a Lithium Ion battery or at least a NiMH. This is my second Light Bar, the first one developed a bad battery that could no longer be recharged. I couldn't just keep it plugged into the wall, because doing so could be a fire hazard. Bell & Howell needs to give the Light Bar replaceable batteries (i.e. rechargeable AA batteries) instead of the non-replaceable short life battery it now has. I'm sure the thinking at Bell & Howell was: "make 'em buy a whole new Light Bar when the battery poops out."The second flaw is the Light Bar's brightness...or lack thereof. In the TV commercial, the Light Bar's "bright mode" was called "insane mode." That's a laugh. It has sixty cob LEDs and "insane mode" isn't even as bright as one of my small flashlights with only one cob LED. When I stand at my kitchen sink, my body casts a shadow, making it difficult to see what's happening in the sink. I got the idea to attach the Light Bar under the cabinet above the sink; I did this with Velcro strips. It would have been nice if Bell & Howell had provided the Velcro strips...just another Bell & Howell omission, I guess. The Light Bar actually has a few positive features, but it isn't worth my time going over them while the basic product remains unimproved.

Good, portable lights
These work well: I've got two I purchased earlier, and have been using them for some time.
