Easy set up & customer support.
Was looking for a booster for our remote off grid cabin that originally was running between 1 & 2 signal bars with Verizon service. I mounted the outdoor antenna to a long two x four & screwed the 2x4 to the roof peak so that the antenna would extend another 10 feet in the air. I now have three to four bars & can stream tv shows from my phones hot spot. It only gets used when we are at the cabin but no problems in the first six months of use. I would say it's a good value for the money & customer service from Hiboost has reached out to me to see how it was working & if I had any questions.

signal boost for talking improved. not interenet speeds.
this dot 2.0 works great in bringing in cell signal for AT&T. does not improve the interenet cell speed. talking was very bad on cell before install of the booster. ensure to max out distance of antenas. i had my first unit replaced and the customer service was great in troubleshooting problems down to the unit itself. they assist in everything needed to get best signal. i went from 1 bar to 3 making conversation on cell excellent.

Simple set up
Pros: Works well and easy to set up. Provides sufficient boost to stream where I am. I’m in a bowl so getting the outside antenna up high was paramount. It’s up 30’. Inside range from the inside antenna is about 12’ (that’s the maximum I’ve tried where I’m in an RV) or so and still providing enough gain.Cons: directions are a loose translation from “X” country of origin so was only slightly less easy to understand. I just think any business that wishes to sell a product globally should do a touch better but it definitely isn’t a deal breaker.Advertises up to 60db boost is probably a laboratory test. Real world results are always different. The HiBoost DOT says 5G compatible but make sure you research the bands that are being used and if they use those bands with 5G then it will work. My area does not support 5G on the bands but LTE works fine for me. Just do your research before purchasing to ensure it’s compatible. I did check beforehand and have been pleased after my old booster (WeB….) became obsolete (gotta love planned obsolescence). I think the app is fairly accurate but might be a touch misleading and optimistic in signal quality but this again is not a deal breaker. If your provider is compatible and you find a good higher place to put the outside antenna and pointed in the best direction, give it a try because you can always return it I imagine (check on that to make sure). And to boot, this is a fraction of the cost of the othersI’m a happy customer so far. Disney works, email, phone calls and internet

Good product.
We ordered this while construction was still being completed on our new home, and just got it installed a week or two ago. It has helped with maintaining the signal within the house, though I haven't noticed a significant increase in the number of bars on the phones themselves. My daughter did need to contact customer service while doing the set up, and they were very responsive and helpful.

I can now enjoy Roku and streaming movies.
This is a honest review after 9 months of everyday use of the Hi Boost Mini. Let me just say prior to my purchase of the mini my cell signal was at -122 DBg after my install I am at -002 to +002 DBg. This mean I can now enjoy roku and stream movies the kids can play there video games online Prior to Hi Boost I had Satlite and the only way for internet was though the Satlite provider .I live in a very roual mountainous terrian where there is not many cell towers due to my location . Install was simple I used Hi Boost's App and I also used cell signal locator app that shows where my cell frequency is comimg from on a gps map . After that just point the anntenna in the right direction and then use the Hi Boost app to fine tune it with their signal stregth bar meter . I used the apps on my phone. To dail in the best possible location of the Anntenna for the best signal. I used a 3ft J pole mast and attached it to the peak of roof . I then slid a 4 ft white pvc pipe straight down on the j pole and secred it with heavy duty screws... The Pvc pipe is my mast that I used to secure my Outdoor Anntenna as seen in the photo. The pvc pipe helps get more gain out of the Anntenna that is why I didnt go with all metal plus in case of Lightning during a storm as well . The inside amp is 60 db and is well made of good heavy duty metal as seen in the picture as well .The amp can communicate via Bluetooth or Wifi also can contact the company as well through there app. Now the Biggest reward is now I can cut the cord to the monthly Satlite bill for TV and Internet. I received a wifi router box on my cell service that Hi boost Amps my signal of my Cell phone service so now I get all the goodies of Roku and All that comes with it and the kids can finally game online. All of this was not possible before unless I payed a huge monthly bill ... So Basically the Hi Boost booster will pay for it self in a few months . So for those who need a good set up the mini will do the job . I used other booster's but they couldn't get me the signal stregth like the Hi boost ... So it's a 5 out of 5 for me so anybody wanting to due some cord cutting this is the 1st step in the right direction.PS 1 Year review of High Boost Dot : The system is still running strong and is my main source of 4g to my AT&T Wireless internet without this High Boost System I still would not be able to get strong enough service torun my At&t Wifi router .High boost is made to last . It will complete with the top shelf brands . Also I experimented a little and installed my directional antenna to an old dish satelite I just drilled 3 holes in the center of the dish and then bolted the antenna to the dish facing where I had the strongest signal . It gave me better gain and kept the 4g signal locked in .This experiment was conducted in the Summer where there were plenty of leaves on the tree tops. Also let it be know I'am in the mountains and do not have direct line of sight of the cell phone tower. I based my experiment on a feed horn grid antenna I researched...Also over this year High Boost made improvements to there App that you use to communicate with inside metal booster . So after 1 year I'm still happy I made this purchase and recommend this product to anyone that needs cell phone frequency increased for phone or 4g service. .

Works well
I have it set up as a portable unit to use at camp sites. One cheap camera tripod to hold the antenna and point it at the nearest tower and put the transmitter inside. Good little unit for price.
