Lots of wows so far
First off let me just warn that this is a big meter. Much bigger than expected but not so big it's ridiculously uncomfortable. I'm just used to their much smaller clamp meters. But... This meter is feature packed, easy to use without spending a day reading, seems to be accurate as pretty much all Unity equipment is. The case is top quality hard case with typical storage space for leads and thermocouple for temp reading...The display also has more digits of resolution compared to many other of their brands and others.. whether that matters much depends on your needs but over all, great meter

Fairly accurate and affordable
I was very pleased with this clamp meter. I mostly bought for its DC mA capabilities. It goes down to 0.001 A which is 1 mA at the 2 A setting. I believe it is more like +/- 3 mA but that's understandable. I needed it for measuring the current my dash cams were drawing especially during parking modes. This was the perfect tool to have for this. In fact I am about to release a video on this topic soon which includes comparing two dash cams on an E36 BMW and comparing the clamp meter to the reading obtained using an inline multimeter DC Amp reader. I was impressed with how close this clamp meter matched the in series reading. Search for the video in about a week or two. Great for checking DC current in automotive circuits.
I purchased it primarily to measure DC current flowing in wires without having to disconnect the wires and insert an ammeter. The first one of these I purchased had an issue with failure to Zero the DC current setting so I returned it. The replacement unit resets properly on each of the 3 DC current ranges.I used it to troubleshoot some 12V power wiring to my replacement auto radio and also it can be used to measure current flow in the B+ circuits of vintage tube radios. Also works fine as a regular multimeter using the test leads for voltage, resistance and diodes. Have not checked it yet for measuring capacitors. Feature that I don't like so much is the need to click through menu options to set the instrument to measure AC or DC voltage, for example when making measurements with test leads. The display does clearly indicate how the instrument is configured for measurement. Conventional multimeters have dedicated function knob positions for AC or DC measurements.

Great little tool for lightening up my bag and giving me more space.
I was Leary upon the purchase of this product. But after using it and rubbing noses with it a bit I am not sure how I survived without out if before. It takes up so little room in my bag that my bag doesn't bulge anymore. I don't even consider using my fluke; which is made in China, this meter is made in Korea. Typically, not always, means higher quality manufacturing. I use my CO detector on it and my temperature probe. It does DC amps which the fluke doesn't. The only thing I wish that would have been different is the location of the leads. In my bag they take a beating because they come out at the bottom.Great meter, use it on a daily basis and yet to have to question it.

Cheap DC clamp meter is what I wanted, I got it
It's not the absolute best meter, but it does the job I wanted: measuring DC current via a clamp. The numbers aren't super accurate, but close enough to tell me what I want to know.Other multi-meter functions work OK, NCV, volt/ohmmeter, work well enough to make me satisfied with this purchase. That said, I have several multi-meters, and this isn't the unit I pull out first when I need to measure something.

I should have purchased this one first
Great meter. I purchased this to get better data on current draw of my mini-split air conditioner and other household appliances. I needed this to properly size an inverter generator purchase, which I wanted because we live in a hurricane/tropical storm area. This was my second go at a clamp meter. The first was much cheaper but gave me readings that fluctuated wildly from on measurement to the next (e.g., 0.5A vs. 13A), and other readings that I knew could not be right (10A for a 100W light bulb). I returned it right away. The UNI-T had none of these issues. Readings were consistent from one measurement to the next, and also consistent with known values (i.e., 100 & 60W light bulbs). I also liked the MIN/MAX feature. I had a little trouble with the inrush current measurement, but I think that was because the 12000 BTU min-split A/C has a very "soft start" feature that very gradually increased current draw to the maximum over 10-15 minutes (this is a very good feature for my generator!).You should be aware that this meter is fairly large. I did have a little trouble fitting the clamp through the 1x opening on my line splitter, but it did fit if you held it at just the right angle. That is about the only caution I can think of. I highly recommend this meter.
