How Heaven Invades Your Finances: Book 1: Build the Foundation for Supernatural Finances Paperback – January 20, 2015

I’m not a sophisticated reader. This guy (Pastor Baker) IMHO does two things that are unique in this book over other Jesus/Money books I’ve read. One, he pulls in relevant info from many other books and assimilates it for the reader. Super valuable. Two, he relates the ideas to scripture in these pithy little phrases that border on corny but end up being helpful to remember.I’ve desired for two decades to be smarter about my Jesus walk and money. I’ve read some good reads, many authors that Baker includes in this book.But Pastor Baker and his preacher style pieces it together along with his own contributions that moved my needle in a much bigger way.It is a must read if you’re serious about conquering the spirit of mammon and avoiding the money trap that Christ warns His followers about over and over.It’s not a cerebral mind changing book IMHO. It’s a heart changing book. Thankfully 🙌

Helped me with my thinking and feeling on money, giving, and living. I highly recommend this book if you struggle with this topic.

I have a complicated relationship with the Creator and money. This book actually irritated me at first and I stopped reading it for a week. But some things in it kept playing on my mind and I was driven go finish it, which I did. And how glad am I. We have been taught all wrong, how much further would we be as a species if we were taught with more clarity, understanding and love like this. I can't wait see how my life transforms with this new understanding of God and money and our relationship with both. This should be required reading in all Christian churches.

Saw a webinar from Jim Baker after seeing someone I trust post about him on FB. I couldn’t afford his program, so I purchased this book and it was a great read. Very easy to read, inspirational AND informative. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn about Kingdom Finances.

I give 10+% for my entire spiritual journey pretty much. I make decent money. I've studied the Word with a Bible school background. This is the first deep dive I did. I say anybook on finances approach with caution. This book really stretched my understanding of how money works and how is relates to God's character. I believe his blessings are for me now because of my history of stewardship and giving. I use to believe differently.

For years I have been saying that I have lost favour with God. This book has shown me so much, but mainly how Gods agape love does not change and it is only me that has not lived in a way to claim my blessing of abundance. This is a must read for EVERYONE!

I felt the presence of God on this book! It was well written and well articulated. And the Lord told me it'd be a paradigm shift for me regarding money and God's desires regarding finances and it most definitely has been! I never do reviews but wanted to get on here and let everybody know....GET THIS BOOK!

I had no idea how much I did not trust God. I’m so grateful for this book.There is such an anointing on it—I would read it so I could remind myself how Good God Is and how much He loves me! As I would read, I found new ways to experience PapaGod’s Beaty, Mercy, and Blessing. I would come away at peace again.
