Irish spring is always a delightful scent. I got extra bar of this soap to help keep mice at bay around the house- just shave a few slices and place in areas rodents frequent.

I actually bought this 3-pack of Irish Spring Original Scent Soap to deter deer from eating my plants. Not entirely sure if it worked for that purpose, but the smell was strong and exactly how I remembered it from years ago—fresh and clean! The scent was potent enough to notice right away, which makes me think it would definitely work well as a deodorant soap too. Even though I didn’t use it for bathing, I can tell the fragrance is long-lasting. Whether you’re using it for its classic cleaning power or some DIY hacks, this soap definitely delivers on the scent front!

I needed bars with the old-fashioned original scent to deter the rabbits from linching on my shrubs. After buying the wrong ones twice, reading dozens of reviews & carefully checking the labels I found these are the ones. Not the bars that just say "for men". Get the ones that just say "original" scent. These do have flaxseed oil added but if you're wanting the old original scent it seems to be these.

Ok, I didn’t buy these to wash anything. I bought these to put in soap savor bags and put them outside around doors and outdoor dining. The smell of the soap keeps bugs away. I live in California. So, I am outside quite frequently and I hate bugs.
