Now I’m a big fan of old trapper jerky and as far as big name jerky goes it’s #1 in my book with teriyaki bring my favorite. I only got 1 cuz I wasn’t sure if it was the same thing as the normal jerky and really for the most part it’s about 80% the same but the flavor is a bit lighter than the regular stuff and the die shapes are pretty thin and chewy. I think I like the regular jerky better than this but if the other kind wasn’t available I’d be very happy with this and recommend giving it a try.Now the “Beware title” what’s that all about? Well I’ll tell you cuz if you own cats maybe don’t get this. I have 3 cats and they are well behaved and usually when I open a bag they come running thinking it’s a treat for them but when they see it’s not for them they kinda just walk away disappointed. NOT THE CASE HERE!!! Idk why but the second I opened this bag the cats came to investigate got 1 smell of this and went crazy! I’m talking sitting on the couch jerky bag above my head and 3 cats trying to climb me in order to get to it. You would think I’d starve these poor cats for months the way they were acting. It’s like the whole pet owner pet thing went out the window and now I’m nothing more than a obstacle between then and eternal happiness or something. They have always been well behaved cats but they were 100% willing to go thru me to get this. Long story short I’ve brokered a flimsy peace deal between me and the cats where I rip up 3 double eagles throw em on the floor and I get to eat as many as I can before they finish. Yep this is my life hahaha but … buyer beware (if you have cats)Ps - great cat treats I guess.

I must say that this is really good and it's very tasty as well, not to mention the cool dimension of how it looks like large slices of pepperoni but with more thickness of course! I do love the fact that it's simple to pack away and eat with some mozzarella string cheese and it's actually a very good combination. I was quite surprised, as well as how the flavor is pretty good for the most part. I think it's quite delicious actually, and my family loves it as well, I like the fact that it's not higher in carbs than most jerkies out there, as well as the fact that you get a good amount for the value. Overall. Overall. I will definitely be buying more which I have already and plan to do so, especially going on road trips. Great snack for glucose control for my family and also lean with protein! I was looking for a replacement of those rounds you would buy at the gas station 40 years ago. I must say I was looking for a product that was more "tough", I guess happens when these get stale, I dont know. But the flavor and freshness of these are so amazing there is little chance of them going stale. Real energy in a disk that tastes as good as any steak you are gonna cook. As I type I have to take a break to get another one in the mouth, yeah it's like that.Tip, hydrolize some chiaa seeds if you eat too many, keeps things moving. Goes for over doing any jerk product.

Delicious! I had somehow expected the jerky to be a bit tougher - I'm a fan of tough beef jerky. Still, I definitely won't complain. Would I buy it again? I'd consider it - it's definitely a great value for the price - the biggest package of beef jerky I've seen in a while!

It is a very good protein that is easy to chew, not overly salty.
