Great French picturebook organized by subjects.
Very good French phrasebook/picturebook covering a wealth of subject matter. Very well organized by situational subject matter such as cooking and foods, travel, etc. Pictures of objects make subjects easy to understand. One of the better books for easy language learning.

Best picture dictonary
I'm an adult who speaks seven languages and love to learn more. Picture dictionaries are a fun way to pick up vocabulary in new languages no matter what the age of the learner. I tried it for Mandarin and had to return the books to Amazon because I did not like them. Although I am fluent in French, I got this to introduce my grandchildren to the French language and was delighted to find what I was looking for: useful words, great graphics, attractive layout. I also enjoyed the little notes about various fun facts. The pronunciation is indicated in a way that's natural and easy to understand for English speakers. The only thing I did not like was the way in which the sound of Ü is represented as OO (for instance as too for the french word tu=You).I hope Rosetta Stone will make a similar book for Mandarin.

Not just for kids!
Bought this for my friend going to Quebec. This book has a lot of phrases commonly used and also words necessary if out shopping or at restaurant. If you butcher the pronunciation, there is a picture to match.
