I like the idea of bbqing fish with this and it works quite well, especially if paired with a thermometer pen. It isn't the easiest to clean but I'm quite happy letting cooking residue burn off and then giving it a wipe down after.

Expensive but as expected.

Having purchase a new bbq we were looking around for the required utensils. Looked at fish baskets in the usual DIY stores but noted that the hinges would not allow the proper closure of the basket without squashing the content. Searched on line and found this one which makes allowance for the thickness of the food. Have used it on fish and noticed immediately the advantage of being able to just flip the basket over - no trying to fiddle with a turner. Did an great job. Although a bit pricey it has proved by its design that it was well worth the investment.

Having researched this, opinion was that this model is superior to all the others. Others are less expensive, but I'm glad I went for this. I've been using it mainly with sides of salmon and it makes cooking very easy. It takes a couple of seabass easily too. For fish, it's great.

Can fit 3 large sea bass. Very good quality.Need to use something with bristles to clean. A sponge won’t do

J’étais un peu sceptique à réception car c’est très plat, mais mon gros poisson est facilement rentré dedans. C’était vraiment excellent cuit de cette manière, facile à retourner et à laver: la plaque est passée sans soucis dans le lave vaisselle. La peau peut coller un petit peu à certains endroits si vous ne décollez pas avec délicatesse et avec un petit couteau, la prochaine fois j’essayerais d’huiler le métal avant de mettre au BBQ. Mais ce n’était pas gênant car la majorité de la peau n’a pas collé 😋

Does its job very well on the grill.But the "net" is made of very thin threads making it hard to clean it properly.
