good set - the bars are comfortable to hold and the weights themselves not to bulky the black paint is peeling a little on a couple of the discs but that doesn't bother me though it might other people. Good range of weights to suit most people who want to push some weights at home. I looked forward to getting ripped with these.***28 December 2017 - I have added an extra star to my review taking it up to five stars. We needed to contact Sweatband about an issue with our order they resolved it quickly we received replacement parts the next day excellent customer service I will definitely be buying our additional fitness gear from them in 2018 purely for that alone. Having a good product is one thing being very customer focused is another and Sweatband definitely look after their customers.

Enough to of the weight puns, I got this to work on my strength and with no previous reviews to go on, I was sceptical.Ordered them on the 4th January from Sweatband and they arrived today! (Great delivery, rivals Amazon itself). It came in three packages (two being the actually cast iron weights and the other being the bars.Included within this set is: 4x1.25kg, 6x2.5kg and 4x5kg but the bars together are 10kg I believe.Gave them a try and they work perfectly, if you tighten the screws, they shouldn't slide as on the side it connects to it by rubber (which works better than I thought.Obviously being one of the first reviews it's had to get a general consensus but I would recommend this product if you looking to get into weight lifting as its a good starting point, it's one of the cheapest opitions and the delivery was amazing quick.

Amazing customer service. I signalled to return due to weights part missing/part having fallen out the box during delivery and they replaced the item with missing weights immediately.Product is very good quality

Decent set of weights for the price. The bars feel sturdy, and all the weights + tightening nuts fit on well. After a few sets of excercise the tightening nuts come a little loose, but that is only a minor inconvenience. The bar is so long that there's no chance the nuts could fall off the end.Other reviews mention that the bar bends in the middle. It's true that the bar isnt 100% straight when you connect the two halves together, but not because the bar bends. It's because the connecting piece isn't threaded accurately. That being said, the un-straightness is very very mild and you have to look hard to spot it.Packs down to a compact area which is good for saving space.

Came in two cardboard boxes, no damage and great quality. Unless you're taking funny pills more than enough weight supplied. I'd looked around and this set is imo fantastic value, they are all you'll ever need.

Good other than the bar doesn't fit Properly on Viavito's GT1000GT bench. Unfortunate as this was suggested as a purchase with item. It can be used but all weight sits on the end stop and extra sleeves are needed to keep the disks further up the bar.Update: in retrospect I slightly regret the purchase & have just ordered another bar that will fit the bench it was recommended with. The centre sleve of dug into my back during squats, which was another factor.

Very good for the price ,well packed ,Very well machined bars and the rubber seal on the locking rings are the best feature.Can't comment on delivery time as I payed for express.

Brilliant set, I've used up to 85kg on the barbell and it doesn't seem to be bothered by that amount.Perfect for a beginner like me!
