Great, sturdy little button lock that oozes quality!
I had my eye on this for awhile, but couldn't justify buying it, as I already have a pile of what I thought were similar knives in my collection. This one is... exceptional. I've collected knives for over 30 years (mainly US made knives - many customs) and have only recently started to check out Chinese "quality" knives. I have had mixed results. Some brands that are highly touted did not impress me at all. Some barely known brands have impressed the pants off of me. I don't know why I waited so long to try Kizer, but after picking up the LP while it was on sale, I was blown away with the price/quality ration. This is my second Kizer. I've seen enough now that I wouldn't hesitate to buy more premium models from them. This knife is almost perfect... Fit and finish - SPOT ON: the blade grind is even and perfect, the micarta is some of the best I've handled, everything is symmetrical, centered and solid, the action is velvety smooth, not a single cosmetic flaw could be found. Materials - AWESOME: 154CM has been used in knives for years for a reason, again - the micarta - beautiful and grippy, full steel liners - don't help with the weight, but give the knife an extremely solid feeling in hand, with an awesome balance that gives the blade a light and agile feeling in hand. Presentation - GREAT: The packaging isn't the fanciest, but it's above and beyong what it needs to be and gives the feeling that you're opening a much more expensive product - perfect for gifting. Performance - TBA: All I've cut is some paper, and it is a little razor blade. I fully plan on putting this blade through its steps and will update my review as needed - I've already been using their LP model in the same blade steel and have been very impressed with the edge retention and sharpenability, so I don't see it being an issue - but we'll see. Design: Perfect. It's bigger than I thought from looking at the pictures, but still relatively compact. It's a bit wide and a bit short, and that might scare you away, until you start handling it. It feels so good in the hand - absolutely no hot spots, nice jimping up the spine of the blade, I'm not normally a fan of button locks, but it works for this knife, the micarta scales are spot on and in my opinion, are a major contributing factor to the design of this knife. The blade has a gradual sweep to the tip, creating a gentle but slicey belly. The tip is thick and looks strong. There is zero blade play, lock rock, button stick, etc...For $40, I dare you to find a better knife! I remember when $40 got you AUS-8 steel and FRN scales at best. It wasn't that long ago. I hate to see US manufacturing suffer... but I'm not made of money. It's nice to know that I can scratch my itch for a new knife for way less these days.If people knew how good these are, they wouldn't be able to keep them in stock at this price. Just fantastic. I'm a Kizer fan now.

Great knife, just need to check quality control
I got my first one and had to replace it do to a bad detent. It was super hard to open with the button lock engaged and had a wobble in the blade when closed. I had other kizers and never had a quality issues like that before. So I got a replacement and it feels just like my Kizer Assassin XL action. Super smooth and amazing feel. I love this knife design. It's probably my favorite modified sheepsfoot blade in my collection.

The Scrappy Underdog of Pocket Knives
The Kizer Lieb M is like the scrappy underdog of pocket knives—small, fast, and ready to throw down. With a 3-inch 154CM blade, it’s got just the right mix of toughness and sharpness, making it a mean little cutter for EDC tasks. This thing slices through boxes like a samurai on caffeine and sharpens up like a dream. The Black Micarta handle? Smooth, grippy, and just rugged enough to feel like it belongs in a survival movie. The action is buttery smooth, flipping open with that satisfying snick sound that makes you feel instantly cooler.Final Verdict:Compact, sharp, and fun to fidget with—what’s not to love? 8.5/10. It’s an EDC workhorse with style!

Comfortable, versatile and attractive
This model caught my eye when I saw the burlap micarta. It kept my focus because I loved the blade shape and two ways to open. The ease of use has made this to become one of my favourite daily carry knives. Despite being made from quality materials that feel substantial, it doesn’t weigh my pockets down. The blade thickness is great because it’s thin enough to slice through things without fighting it to do so. Yet it’s still thick enough to hold up to use, wear and tear. As some people have mentioned, yes the pivot screw can loosen over time but this isn’t a problem on my experience. It’s simple to tighten the pivot screw, if you notice any blade play. Simple periodic maintenance is essential for any tool you own. Therefore I don’t find myself needing to complain about doing a task that should be performed anyway. This is a handsome knife that has comfortable grip. I paid under $50 and I feel it was worth every penny.

Excellent
For 40$ you won’t be sorry. Heck for 70$, retail anywhere else, it’s a great buy.154cm is excellent stain-less steel. Was developed and used in jet aircraft engines. This little flipper is a small beast. The liners are shadow boxed by the scales. The scales are nice thick pieces of well done Micarta. The hardware is t8 except clip which is a T6Huge lanyard hole if you use lanyardsFFG at a nice thin 3”. It’s thin behind the edge and the tip is thin enough to do precise work. The clip is standard Kizer. Works very well.Clip and slip screws are counter sunk.Action is very good. Very good detent and excellent button lock feel. No stick.Smoother than my spyderco and BM knives that cost hundreds more. This is truly a smooth one hander. Out, open cut, close, back in pocket. Bam. I like this one.At 40$ I love it.

Good knife
It's a good knife and nice hefty weight to it. I did have to clean it and do a little bit of maintenance on the walk after I got it so that the lock would engage in disengage cleanly but after that it works. Great news! A good all around knife and a good EDC

Insanely good value
Bought at $40 and couldn't believe how smooth the action is on this thing. Shaving sharp out of the box but took to a refined edge easily, holds up to work use really well. Love the balance of this thing and it's fidget factor with the flipper and button lock combo is perfect.

Deal of the century
It is a thicker footprint but it feels amazing. I did have to tighten the bolts but I put loctite on my pants so they stay up as well. A knife should be no difference.A must have at this price. I've bought 2. Great steel, great edge. Just a bit full in the hands, but not massive.
