I bought this to prevent climbing onto my trailer every morning to connect my portable solar panels to my solar generator. I did not enjoy carrying the generator up and down the ladder every day. Now I can leave the panels up while camping and safely plug my generator in on the ground. Safe, secure connections at each end. No issues or concerns after over 90 days of daily use. Well made product and excellent quality.

Well designed. Worth the money

This is nice, heavy wire. It has good flexibility for its size. The wires are connected. Some heavy wire cables are two individual cables. I got one of them once, and ended up taping them together. Anyway, there is another seller on Amazon, that has similar wire, for a lower cost. One of their diagrams shows a red Anderson connector going into a black one, and visa versa. Several comments said they had to pull the boot off one end, and rearrange the Anderson housings. I had gotten a cable that was like that. The cable did not work, until the plugs were reversed. When looking at them, with the red housing on the right side, the metal tab should be visible on the top. Going red to black reverses polarity. You want red going from your panel, to your power station. I wondered what other problems the less expensive cable might have. I would buy this again.

Perfect length for my needs

This extension cable is connected to the new Jackery hard sided solar panels. Cable is heavy gauge and has worked great.
