Looked like the same fitting for my van but when it arrived it was twice the size! My error entirely as I didn’t count the pins holes for the male end. Returned and purchased correct one as report on Amazon

Well made standard OBD connector to BMW test port adapter
I am unable to comment (yet) on use this adaptor cable, but it is a very well made item of a professional standard. If you plan to diagnose ECU faults on BMW models fitted with the round OBD test port then this cable looks up to the job. Very pleased!
