Great lightweight stand for my mountain bike.
I needed a stand for my Raleigh Boulder mountain bike, and assumed a Raleigh one would be the best choice for my bike. There's a little bridge/bracket between the chainstays, just behind the bottom bracket, and I assumed this was for a stand. But in fact, the stand doesn't fit on this, so I mounted it further forward towards the bottom bracket. The stand looks good and works fine, and it's easy to adjust the length so that the bike stands with a slight tilt- although I wouldn't say it's rock solid when propped up. It's easy to push up into its parked position, and it clicks in place securely. So far, it's worked fine, and I've had no problems. As others have said though, I wouldn't be surprised if a strong wind was enough to push the bike over..

Raleigh Universal Propstand
This is a great product and fitted my Raleigh bike perfectly. It was very easy to fit and just required a spanner.Works very well ad is extendable to fit fit different sizes of bikes. The only negative point is the plastic end rest peice which looks a bit fragile although it has not broken yet. I am planninng to cover it with a rubber membrane to protect it.Overall pretty satisfied with it. A similar product in a well known high street chain was 40% dearer.

A bit complex to is tall but sturdy and functional product
It’s been 6 weeks I have been using it with my Steel frame, steel welded old school Mountain bike that weisghs around 17kg.Fixing it. Was a bit of hassle with three different moving parts - but once it’s fixed worked like a charm. After fixing I could adjust its length simply rotating the screw ...No complains.

Mixed feelings
The stand is a very strong and sturdy construction, all apart from the plastic foot. On it's very first use, a corner chipped off from the foot. It still works, though it now looks ugly and doesn't fill me with much confidence for it's life-span. I'll keep using it for now, and see how it lasts.Such a shame, as the rest of the stand is very rugged.

Very poor quality
I was hoping for much better. Ignoring the price, I at least expected this stand to work, but the poor materials and tubular design does not give it any strength at all. The flimsy alloy bolt is impossible to fully lock the arm at the correct length. Consequently it constantly moves causing my daughter's bike to fall over, now damaging her bike - don't waste your money!! Whatever happened to the solid steel ones with descent fixings you used to be able to buy? Utter rubbish frankly...
