It's easy to navigate and brilliantly organised
The book has lots of examples of real English people use daily. It's easy to navigate and brilliantly organised. The audio is very easy to access - it's great!

Truly useless
The cartoons and symbols used are reproduced so small that they are of no use whatsoever. The tables are equally useless and the starting point at which we start to learn is ridiculous. One of the earliest lessons is about which syllable to stress in multi- syllable words, so one of the first words a student is expected to learn is "multi-syllable"! I don't recall exactly when I first used that word but it certainly wasn't at nursery school! Ridiculous methodology, poor presentation and generally a waste of space. I assume the good ratings were family and friends!

Excellent book.
This book is very useful, practical and understandable. It provides ideas on how to learn English effectively and it is made up of good and logical exercises for students. I highly recommend this book.

No CD
TRYING to teach English to a friend, I bought this book, only to discover that the whole thing is based on an accompanying recording...WHERE IS THAT RECORDING?....there is no obvious indication or advice. Perhaps it is on a CD? WRONG!!! There is no NO CD!! I find the marketing little short of fraudulent and would appreciate a refund. Phillip Edwards. [email protected]
