Kind of stiff and hard to close your mouth.
I bought these for my teeth whitening business thinking they would be a little softer and better than a check retractor. They aren’t that great. Once they are in the mouth then are very hard to move around and stiff. They also make it very hard to close the mouth at all making it easier to see the teeth. I am not sure what these would be used for but not for me.

I have a teeth whitening business and it works well with people that have fuller lips. It does get uncomfortable after a while just like any other cheek retractor

No for kids
The item may be a nice buy for someone. But it was too big for my kids mouth. And kept sliding out of my mom's mouth who was in a coma at the time. Not comfortable did not work for us.

To small for fuller lips
I got these for my teeth whitening business and I tried on myself before trying on my clients and I have about average size lips but I feel like these are too small they kept trying to push out my lips as if the retractor wanted to come off. I would say these are better for kids or small size lips but if you have fuller lips these might not work out for you. I did like how comfortable they felt compared to the other cheek retractors . It does make it alittle hard to reach some teeth that are on the sides .

Comfortable to Wear for Dental Cleaning/Whitening
These Lip Ring Retractors are easy to use and relatively comfortable. The material is soft and has no burrs or sharp edges. While the stretching of your mouth can become uncomfortable over time (and messy due to not being able to hold in your drool), these work great to reveal the teeth and prevent lips from interfering with treatments. In addition, if you are someone who likes to wear dental cosmetics such as vampire teeth for costumes or temporary tooth gems, these are helpful in allowing you the apply the cosmetics with precision and have them fully set/cure without your lips accidentally shifting them.
