As someone in the steel fabrication business, I can't praise this tool enough. This is basically a portable table for filling out paperwork when there isn't an open/any surface to write on. Having stable clips on both the top and bottom allowed for it to be easier for getting signatures without the paperwork falling down or flying away. It did come with a water proof cover, I ended up cutting that bc I wanted the extra storage space for paperwork, so I never did end up using that. It's got a decent sized zippered pocket big enough to carry many medium sized supplies. Really REALLY awesome product. I've used it daily for months now and it's holding up well with regular use.

Would like the backplate to be sturdier than particle board, but served its purpose for a clipboard

Had a slight issue which was corrected immediately. Christine has amazing customer service and stands behind her product. A traditional clipboard was not sufficient for my needs. I work on JLG’s, ladders, scaffolding and catwalks often and there is no place to lay a regular clipboard or something to rest it on when you are writing a lot of information. Not to mention the wind that can carry it away when you are up high. This item is perfection! A place to store writing utensils, a ruler and whiteout. A neck strap so you never need a place to lay it plus you just put the bottom right above the top of your pants and you now have a portable desk. The size is perfect too. When you are creating diagrams or working with blueprints it is a lifesaver. There is also a waterproof cover that I didn’t even realize was included until I received it. And this is the only one of its kind. I researched for hours and found nothing to even compare to it.

I was looking for a 11 x 17 clip board with clips on each side and a shoulder strap. This met the mark plus it has a cover that can be used to cover the clipped in sheets of paper. The cover helps when it’s raining or windy. I do field work in the utility construction field and this has been super useful for holding my plans. The designers, engineers, and construction managers I work with have all said they like the product when they’ve seen me with it. I put the strap around the back of my neck that attaches to the top corners of the board, I then put the bottom of the board against my torso and I can use the board like a table and easily write notes on the plans. I highly recommend this. Also I thought it was reasonably priced.

The product is okay for the price. I really bought it because I needed something since I do geology field work quite often and this was one of the few clipboards that have a shoulder strap. Some important aspects that went into purchasing this product was the durability of the material and the utility it offers. It has decent storage in the back pocket and the material is good, however, the biggest issue I ran into is the ripstop material is not as good as advertised. When using the clipboard, the fabric that supports it is always taut and I have to delicately handle the clipboard in order to prevent it from ripping against a jagged edge or a rock. Durability is a big factor in the field products I choose for work because I do not want to repurchase a product if it breaks, and unfortunately, this clipboard doesn't meet my demands.
