Needed this for an extension for our faucet,it worked perfect

Like most people looking at this listing trying to decide if it will solve a faucet problem that popped up in the last hour or day, my husband and I were trying to figure out how to solve the fact that the counter was too thick to allow the new faucet to be properly secured with this threaded pipe and a threaded nut.He had checked out local lumber yard/hardware stores and found nothing. The clerk who used to work for a plumber told him that this part was not made for the name brand faucets that are typically marketed in the US. Instead it was for an import faucet. We knew we had an import faucet, we just didn’t realize that parts were that different.I looked on Amazon and found several options. I could count the threads per inch on this listing from PZRT and they specifically showed the 4” extension, so that helped quite a bit but our measurements were off. We determined in the end that the part here and everywhere online, is measured on outside diameter not on inside diameter. I have photographed the part that came with my faucet and the part I received from PZRT to show the match. I hope this helps someone uncertain if this part will fit their sink make the right decision.I did deduct one star as the listing shows in the 5th and 6th photos - a threaded nut that does not come with this part. I hoped it would. Our sink is in the laundry room, a very deep mop style sink that is under mounted and 14”deep so my husband has to tighten the threaded nut onto this shank while having his arm between the wall and the flat backside of the sink to secure a tall spray style faucet. The threaded nuts in their photo would have made this easier as it had the screws sticking down and that would have given him more leverage to get the nut up on the threaded pipe fitting and get the faucet tightened down to the countertop. I think the seller could be a bit more clear with a text overlay on the photo saying threaded nut for example purposes only. Many people shop Amazon from their phones so being crystal clear is helpful to everyone especially to prevent returns. ( I don’t have that excuse I use my tablet ).I am very pleased with this product, happy with the price, thankful the thread count in the photograph matches the product shipped, and to be able to order this part on Tuesday after 8 pm and receive it by Thursday noon …living in a small rural town. Now my laundry room can go back to a clean orderly space.

Was happy to see that this did exist. I had barely gotten my faucet installed utilizing only 1 thread on the supplied extension. This product allowed the faucet to be installed properly.
