Easy if you watch a tutorial. Replaced the battery on my MacBook Air. There is a cellophane they don’t distinguish on whether or not to remove. I tried removing one piece but it seemed to be attached. I did not end up removing it. It has not changed functionality and it removed the notification on my Mac regarding my battery life. 10/10 would recommend. Great price, easy install, durable, and i loved the tools that came with it.

So far so good!
Battery fits and reports proper capacity. I plan to charge it, let it drain, and charge it again to see how the runtime is. My only complaint was it didn't come with instructions, and was a little tough to remove the original battery. There is adhesive that is holding the original battery making it a bit difficult. Thank goodness for online videos. Patience is key. I used a couple putty knives to help scrape the battery loose. The tool that came with it didn't work well. It should breathe new life into my old laptop. I'll update again once I get to check battery life. Or if I forget, assume it's working well. :)

Very poor quality, look at other brands and buy something else
I have installed an aftermarket battery in my other Macbook a few years ago from another manufacturer and am very happy with it. I could not find a battery for my new laptop from the same manufacturer so I figured I would try this one. I am beyond disappointed. I should have returned it as soon as I opened the box. It looked like a very cheap attempt to duplicate what it should look like. There were zero instructions. I just youtubed them but the quality of the battery looked very poor. But I had it so I installed it.Right away the first 2 charge cycles it did not last any longer than my 5 year old OEM battery. After the computer relearned the new battery it seemed to be on track to be a good battery. But then while I was working on it and it was clearly around 25%, it completely died. Plugged it in and it was at 0%. Let it charge back up and it seemed to be fine again and lasting a long time, right up until it died in the mid 20% range again. That was all I needed. I looked further and was able to find a batt from the manufacturer that I have been happy with in the past and the first thing I did on the computer when I installed the second new battery was to process the return for this one, and then wrote this review.If it looks like a turd its probably going to be one, I should have known better, but I figured I'd try it. What I got for my trust was having to redo the job twice.No thanks, returning it. Do not buy this one. Plenty of other ones out there, and apparently they are NOT all the same.

Excellent alkaline battery case

Laptop battery
Battery works gr8.. Dont just scan barcode when ordering.. Make sure it is either a LA03 (11.1 volts) or LA04(14.4 volts). Double check.

Even I could install this & it works great!
I am the most low-tech person of anyone I know, yet I was able to install this battery in my very old Macbook Pro on my own. I just followed the instructions in a couple of videos I watched and presto! It worked! The only snag is something that a few other people mentioned in their comments. The screw holes don't align correctly, so one of the screws had to go in at a slight angle. If there is any change in the way this battery works, I'll update my review, but for now, it's fantastic + I saved a lot of $ by doing it myself.
