THIS IS AN EXCELLENT PRODUCT!!! We had to replace the baskets/strainers in our kitchen sink about a year ago. I bought them from our local hardware store and they never worked or fit properly. We just assumed it was because the kitchen sink was older and to find an exact fit wasn’t possible anymore. Then one of them broke. I started reading the reviews for replacement ones and a lot of the cheaper ones had a lot comments about not fitting properly or breaking very quickly. The ratings for this one were great. This one fits like a glove and works exactly like it should. Wished we had gone this way sooner. Pay a little more for good QUALITY!!!!

I love this sink basket strainer. It works well and i don't have to tilt it to the side to let water buy. It looks nice and cleans up well AND it holds the water in the sink too :) :) I would buy again but probably will not have to.

The basket strainer is well constructed and should last for a while. The spindle bushing was loose and kept popping out of the center hole in the basket. I used a small hammer to peen the bottom of the bushing to tighten it up.

These sink strainers are excellent quality and were a perfect fit, plus price was very reasonable.

The quality is good but it did not seal well in my sink drain.

2 month update: This strainer/stopper is holding up so far. The axel in the middle (which holds the rubber stopper) hasn't come apart yet, unlike other Chinese-made ones I purchased in the past. I purchased another one as backup.Original review: I've purchased many Chinese-made sink strainers/stoppers in the past, but gave up on them since they never lasted for more than a few weeks and never fit well or were always too small (despite their claims that they fit 3.5" standard sink drains). I switched to sink strainers/stoppers made of silicone (i.e., OXO and other brands) for awhile and although they fit and work well, mold always grows on them and I got tired of cleaning them daily. Stainless steel is much easier to maintain. So I took a chance on this Varnahome strainer/stopper and am happy to report that it actually fits my standard 3.5" drain, looks like it's made of stainless steel (I can't be sure), has a real rubber plug, and seems sturdy. I don't know where it's made, but it seems to be doing the job. Time will tell how good it really is. If it lasts, I'll buy a couple more since it's almost impossible to find a quality stainless steel sink strainer/stopper nowadays.

I don’t like this one because no matter how I put it in the water won’t drain. I have to put my hand through the dirty water to remove it and then some food gets down the drain. I had to buy a different kind. Now I have one without a stopper. It is just a strainer with a handle and it is working much better at letting the sink drain while catching the food.

This has a nice look, matches the existing drain hardware and I like the many holes it has to catch food. The seal is good and when I need to it holds water well in the sink without it draining out.
