Easy setup
Bought these cameras to replace the eufy 2 I had for 3 years. These are bigger and with better image quality but the added value of solar energy charging is awesome. It sad they they lost the Apple Home Kit feature, that the previous eufy 2 had.

Feature-packed but with poor hardware and firmware quality control
We've had nothing but issues with the Eufy security cam system (2 kits) we ordered as we've had to replace 5 out of the 6 eufyCams now for botched firmware upgrades (which are automated by Anker) and 2 for hardware related issues. The failure rate of these cams is very high!Despite Anker replacing the 5 faulty cams, of which a couple were replaced more than once, with refurbished cams that according to Anker were thoroughly QC'd and checked prior to shipping only for the replacement cams to fail again.To add insult to injury, when we requested from Anker to extend our warranty by half a year for the issues, lost time and effort we faced with their cameras as we've lost any confidence we had in their brand, we were instead offered a 15% discount on our next Eufy purchase!!No thanks, Anker. Never again!

Nice design, solar not efficient, detection issues
Good things: design, easy installations with guide stickers, connects well to homebase3 but don't forget to turn on the location. Good picture quality yet it drains the battery. USB charger and cables. Memory Can be expanded, though it has 16 gb. I never tried the AI detection for issues of privacy on AI services in general.Bad things:solar system not efficient for battery charging, detection delays, and works only on 2.5 frequency. Higher picture quality and longer clips drain battery.Nice as a temporary, install it yourself kinda thing. Or for one who wanna try these things.
